What a crazy place! So easy to get turned around! But what colour, what excitement, what hustle and bustle. Lots to see and shopping is easy if you wish, but I kept my wallet well hidden. Can't believe the crowds and the motorcycles driving through the people. Strange to a Canadian but an absolute must visit place.

Nice distinctive tower, stands out amongst the low lying buildings of Marrakech. Such a shame non Muslims cannot enter the mosque & climb the tower.

If staying for two or more days in Marrakech this is a neighborhood that you will visit. It's more European style with clothes stores, restaurants, clubs, etc. Depends what you are looking for.

Great products that work as advertised . I’ve been having eczema for all my life and tried their products during my visit to Marrakech.
The store is a real gem.
Badr who helped me, was very knowledgeable and a great help. A must visit when in Marrakech and specially if you have skin problems. They also ship worldwide, which was a great find .

Comfortable, well organize and clean. The trip from Marrakech to Casablanca took us 2hours and 40minutes. The train drove fastly and smoothly. Very pleasant trip.

We visited here after the synagogue and after reading a review regarding spices we went in find no 65 and must say it was a good shop. Many sellers tried to coax us into their shops but we decided to go to this one and bought lots of spices and very pleased with service and prices.
We also ate in the little square with tables and chairs before getting to the Mellah and had a simple dish of vegetable tagine and mint tea, it was probably the most flavourful dish we have had so far and good price.
It may look a bit run down here but it was authentic and had a nice feel about it.

Walked from the medina to the cyberpatk while we were exploring the newer part of marakech. Very impressive green space, great place to relax and wander around.

The area immediately north of Djemaa El Fna is a lively marketplace with stalls of different industries around. It is a perfect start to explore Marrakesh's historic medina. Tourists may aware that things are significantly marked up here.

Lovely, cozy little shop with genuine products and non-pushy staff. We felt super well treated and bought quite some products. The nice owner even offered us tea (before we bought anything).

The place is amazing and live, all kinds of activities are available for both children and adults. We really enjoyed our time at the M avenue.

New desings in natural straw are sold all over this small square which now hosts also several restaurants. The heavy traffic nearby has been restricted making the environment more pleasant. There is a local market at the corner selling fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, olives, herbs.

An OK mall, but small and banal. Food court area with not very generous offer. Clean., everywhere
Interestingly, there is a small ice rink in the area dedicated to children.
Otherwise, the only notable thing is that in the Carrefour on the ground floor you can buy alcohol.

This is a great market to visit - it feels much more authentic than the main souk around Jamal Fna square. We went in the evening and it seemed like all the locals were doing their food shopping from incredible market stalls.

These are interesting historical city walls, which give an authentic sense of the city’s history. They are also a useful landmark for finding your way around when you get lost in the medinas!

Great place for that marketplace vibe. Wear your directional glasses, or you'll get lost. But then again, you'll probably find your way again - or at least your mind will trick you into thinking "this is the way" multiple times. Great atmosphere, the merchants are not too pushy, unfortunately not a lot of them wanted photos taken (at least not without payment). Lots of wares and goods, Morrocan handicrafts some of which even made in China/India (as goes for most of the marketplaces in the world). If you're looking for traditional attire, this is the place, they will fit the clothes and customize as needed. If you're asking for directions, you might be pointed in three different as such. Take your time, and enjoy the vibe rather than stress around to get to somewhere else. There will be donkeys, motorcycles, kids, merchants, and tourists in a wonderful mix, so just hold on to your hats and keep calm.
