We booked a bed in the Marbella area and arrived about 11.20. It opened at 11.30 and we waited at the valet area with the security man after which we were let into the venue. We were one of the first to get there so had free choice of the beds in the area we had booked so managed to get some shade and a great position.
The day started very chilled and as the afternoon progressed the music got louder and the atmosphere grew and grew until we were all dancing on the bar at the end! I reckon it was 20-30% full.
We ordered the sushi boat which was amazing and the owner kept making sure the service was quick and high quality, he even shouted at a waiter after I had to wait about 10 seconds for a bottle opener! :)
Only downside was they tried to charge me for the bed as well as all the drinks (even though it was a minimum spend free bed deal) but we got that corrected quite quickly. let me start of with what i enjoyed, the saxophone player was fantastic! absolutely wonderful.
service is ok at best. as soon as you walk in you are barely greeted and and the man at the front has an attitude. one of the waiters in the restaurant has an attitude as well, but the other staff that we spoke with were kind. we were done with our meal and no one came to check up on us, we had to flag them down.
the worst part is the outdoor area, so much going on and the staff just lets you fend for yourself for transportation.
for the pool area there are, i beleive 4 (?) sections: a free one, two other day beds, and a vip area (can not comment on it, but there is a glass surrounding a pool) the free area is close to a smaller pool that is not deep at all, honestly much better than the main pool. you can buy a larger bed for 1000dh and this bed is closer to the large pool and the smaller pool, you cannot pick the beds. furthermore, when you buy the day bed for 1000dh you get that money on a card, which you can use to buy food, drinks, and or hookah. the food was ok, i had the truffle pasta which wasn’t bad, but i couldn’t finish the whole meal. my friend had the dragon roll and the octopus, she said the roll was delicious but the octopus was alright. can’t forget to mention that water is 100dh!Written 19 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The prices are absolutely ridiculous £9 for a can of Coke and £34 for a glass of local rose wine! The prices are far more than other pool clubs I’ve been to. The food also was mediocre and the sax player was not in tune to the music. The actual music played by DJ was horrrendous no one was up dancing no atmosphere at all!
