My friend and I had a really nice time during the class. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. She provided helpful instruction and interesting history.

We also got to take our creations home which will be a nice memento. I’d highly recommend this experience!

We had the most amazing time - such a lovely break from the hot busy bustle of the Souks… we came and had so much fun as a family - sipping mint tea, we had the best teacher ever Nadia who was so patient and helped us make all our baskets looks so professional. Beautiful choice of colours and Pom poms - definitely a holiday highlight - even if you aren’t that crafty or creative, Nadia will ensure you leave with the best basket in town!

We did a 2 hour pottery workshop with clay and had a lot of fun. The owner is very friendly and guides you through the process with a lot of patience and excitement. He clearly knows his craft. Centrally located, not far from the main square, it is the place to be if you want to escape the noise and are in need of some quiet time to be creative. Higly recommend!

We had a wonderful 2.5 weeks touring Morocco doing various tours, treks and activities. However, along with 3 days trekking in the Dades, our afternoon at Marra Pottery was our favourite time.

It is 30 minutes from the Marrakech medina on the 22 bus (the electric bus is an option with a 5 minute walk) but interesting to see outside the centre.

The family are 4th generation potters and gave us a full tour of their workshop before several hours of hands on pottery including the traditional foot driven and electric wheels.

We ran out of time to do any painting and our pieces needed to be dried for several days and fired before they could be taken away. However, Soufaine kindly arranged for the pieces to be couriered to an address later in our stay. A great memory of our holiday to take back to Scotland.

Soufaine and his dad were fantastic teachers, kind and generous sharing their time, facilities and skills. It was a wonderful, relaxed afternoon and felt very much the authentic experience away from the medina crowds.

From our family: Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Hello my name is Jordan I live in London, for my holidays in Morocco I chose Marrakech where I met the whole team of the little thief of the souk, they are incredible people, they allowed me to meet a master weaver, who made me participate in making a linen and cotton scarf, this memory will remain one of the best moments of my vacation. I thank the little thief of the souk Jordan.

They are super friendly, professional and I have to say I had about the best massage I have ever had! My friend and I both had the hour relaxing massage. We were served tea and cookies afterwards. Great Value!!! I highly recommend this business and I’m picky.
