- The Like B2 contributionsIddir did an amazing job collaborating with local businesses, shops, and tour guides along our way from Fes to Marrakech. We stayed for approximately 9 days and we went everywhere from the Medina in ages, to the Merzouga Dessert, to Atlas Studios, all the way to Ait Ben Haddou, and made it to Marrakech. The tour included food, usually breakfast and dinner although lunch wasn’t included. It was an incredible experience and Iddir was very friendly and knowledgeable. He speaks English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Berber, among other languages. The tour includes stops approximately every two hours to get snacks, water, and also gifts. - Kadijah A6 contributionsHad such an amazing time with these two Gentlemen Reda and Idrissi! I did a solid trip Fes and was had 4 other ladies added. Mr.Reda is a patient driver who made sure we were okay throughout the trip. Allowed us to take breaks and didn’t rush us. Mr.Idrissi is well informed and has been a tour guide for 45 years ! He’s speedy so don’t let his age fool you. I enjoyed the places he took us in Fes. He also took a lot of great pictures of us while also showing off his own from the past. He made us feel welcomed. We never once felt pressured, rather felt his patience allowed us to really experience our surroundings. He did not rush us at all, took the time to tell us about the history of every major landmark, and helped us take beautiful photos with a smile! - Luis vanBelgium1 contributionVolubilis was the highlight of the trip an incredible historical site with beautiful mosaics and plenty to explore, even with some ongoing construction. Moulay Idriss offered a peaceful stop, and Meknes added a touch of history with its medina and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Our driver, Mostafa, was fantastic helpful, friendly, and thoughtful, even providing water for all 8 of us. - Kelcey C1 contributionThis tour was so much fun!! The desert was so beautiful, especially during sunset while we were riding camels and sunrise when we driving the ATVs. The drive to and from Fez was lengthy but our driver, Zaki, really made it accommodating but making stops for the restroom, food and interesting stops along the way. - Silvia L1 contributionI decided to take a cooking class while in Fes, as I love cooking and I wanted to learn about Moroccan cuisine. I am vegan so I asked for a vegetable option, which Imad and Hanae were happy to organize for me. They both speak very good English, so we could communicate easily. I though I would be with more participants but in the end it was a private class for myself, so great!
We prepared two different salads, which I tried before at local restaurants, and Couscous with vegetables. The class lasted about 2 hours, where I could ask all questions regarding also meat options, spices and we also discussed about culture differences.
While travelling I love to learn about culture from locals so this was the perfect chance. The food was amazing. It is a long journey and he made sure we were comfortable. Chefchaouen is definitely worth visiting. We enjoyed the hike up to the Spanish mosque and a good salad at Cafe Clock. - Isabelle Z2 contributionsHisham went above and beyond to help us have a perfect day in Fes! he was extremely accommodating and encouraging to make us as comfortable as we can be in the crowded and busy medina. he personally took us to trusted shops to purchase what we particularly wanted - jewelry and argan oil - and was extremely patient while we shopped around. after the tour well ended hisham even took us to a great lunch spot in the medina, picked us up after, and him and mohammad gave a great recommendation for a hammam and even arranged our taxi back to the hotel!
I can't recommend this tour enough for those looking to have a full day in Fes and learning experience in the medina. It was wonderful to spend the day with Hisham who truly knows and cares about his work. Will recommend to anyone going to Fes in the future!
