Our first Luau and Gilligan Island made it one to remember. Well organized, food and were diversified. Experiencing music and dances was the best way to learn about culture and tradicion.

This was our first time at a Sandals Resort. We wanted a smaller, boutique hotel, heard the grounds were well maintained and it had several pools, plus 5* dining. We were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and travelled March 30-April 6, 2024.
We flew Air Canada from Ottawa to Toronto and then Toronto to St. Lucia. Upon arrival in St. Lucia, my husband's luggage did not arrive! We sat in the lovely Sandals lounge, filled out lost baggage paperwork and awaited a later shuttle bus to be taken to the resort, about 1.5 hrs away. The people at the welcome desk had lovely lemon scented towels for us and a rum drink. They sent us to concierge concerning the lost luggage and showed us the duty free store where we could get a 10% discount on any clothing we needed while we waiting. That same evening, we were advised our luggage was located in Toronto and it was sent on the next flight (next day) and it arrived 15 minutes before our dinner reservation. Sandals has plenty of staff and you feel waited on hand and foot! There is room service every day and it is never missed. The fridge was stocked daily, but we had to call every day for wine and beer (as they only left 2 beer in the fridge)! We attended the main pool the first day, which had live entertainment for Easter. Afterwards, we tended to be at the beach or the "quiet" pool instead. If you weren't up by 8am, you would not get good pool seating and everything at the beach would be taken, usually by butlers for higher paying guests. The resort had a narrow property, but was well used. Landscaping was gorgeous! There were so many places so sit or lounge on the resort property, day or night. The views from Kelly's Dockside restaurant were incredible! Mario's Italian restaurant was a little hidden gem. We ate several lunches at the Beach Bistro, it was so nice to eat outside and not be tempted by the International Buffet! If I spelled any names wrong, I'm sorry, but these people made our stay so enjoyable: Indira (for our morning Mimosas); Veronica for morning eggs; Vanessa for hearing our lost luggage woes, and she was also my RMT from Red Lane Spa; Celine with Red Lane Spa, Danel our waitress at both the Main pool and the quiet pool - we loved her "Island Smiles", rum and diet Cokes, and Vodka & OJ bevies; Angie at the Concierge desk; Michiah from Concierge who gave us an incredible resort tour; Chef Lorenzo at Kimonos who put on a wonderful show!; Chef Kimane at Kimonos who made the evening fun; Debbie at the Beach Bistro; Jenell who served us dinner at Kelly's; "Dr." Cassius at Mario's who we had great laughs with; and all of the housekeeping staff whose names we did not get, for keeping our room clean and towels replenished; and those who re-stocked the fridge - THANK YOU! And special thanks to Theresa our guide, and Richard the bus driver for our Land and Sea Tour on April 5th. We loved the sulphur mud baths (thanks for the surprise writing on our backs) and waterfall outings, and gorgeous St. Lucia bay views. The Sandals Halcyon is also only a fifteen minute cab ride to Castries, where you can view the harbor and shop the markets for souvenirs or food. Right up there as one of our best trips ever! We had a fantastic time!

We originally booked with another company but were told by our local friends before we came to try this company as the groups aren’t as large. We were glad we did. Everything from booking to the actual experience was top notch. The only one that takes you outside to the other side of the crater to experience “the elevator” which was the highlight for me. Genuinely nice people who look out for your safety and that you are having a good time and the group size is perfect. We were off the pride of America cruise ship and got a car the day before as it was an early morning start. Glad we did.

Delicious food. I am a vegetarian and made a special request in advance. They custom made a beautiful and delicious special plate for me in addition to the items already available in the buffet. My wife is gluten sensitive and received,a gluten free desert.
The entertainment was very enjoyable as we learned about the cultures,of the Islands. The grand finale of the fire dance was spectacular. The music was very relaxing.
In all, we had a very good time.

This will likely be a highlight of our trip! The catamaran was beautiful, the ladies sailing the boat and taking care of us were phenomenal, the dinner was delicious, the bean bags that we sat on were soooo comfortable (a game changer that really elevated the experience for us), and the sunset was beautiful. We also saw 8-10 whales, which was a treat. Highly recommend!

Lovely cruise with good food, entertainment, and an exceptionally friendly crew. We even saw whales and a spectacular sunset. It gets very windy above, so skip the hats without chin straps and DO NOT wear a dress or skirt no matter how cute you think you are. You will thank me for this info.

Food was good. Location was very nice. Unfortunately it rained thru the whole show . They provided ponchos and were very nice. I wanted an authentic show but next time I will second guess my choice just because it is not sheltered from the elements. I did not think of that when booking.

This was a very family friendly hula dance show. Bringing beach chairs is a good idea, and plan to get dinner at the food trucks next to the gardens. They have good vegetarian options.

What a fun excursion! The crew is excellent and made the experience extra special . The snorkeling was excellent at both locations. The captain was on top of the windy weather and took us to calm waters. Everyone had fun in the slide. Food was yummy. It was a great day.

We enjoyed our evening at the luau. We had standard tickets, but it did include a lei and we had a good view of the entertainment. The lei was well-made with real flowers. Unlimited food and drink was included. It was a buffet but the line was organized and fairly quick. A server came by periodically to refresh our drinks. Some of the dancers were not the best but the fire throwing and eating was amazing! I enjoyed learning more about the Hawaiian culture.

We wanted something special to do for my birthday and this was it! We got a beautiful sunset, awesome charcuterie board, and loved the picture. Very romantic and special.
