This was a great tour. While the kayaking part is a little difficult (no current), the hike to the waterfall is definitely worth it. We recommend swimming in the waterfall, that was the highlight. Our guide, Zach was awesome. Very friendly and funny. Make sure to take closed toed hiking shoes that you don't mind getting wet and wearing wet.

Great experience and great way to get introduced to Kauai! You get a glimpse of its overwhelming beauty and lucky enough to swim underneath a waterfall. Our guide Lisa was a great leader and extremely considerate behalf everyone’s needs. Definitely recommend, Thank You Lisa!!

My husband, son & I had a wonderful time on the kayak tour. Our guide, Gabriel, was extraordinary and stopped us many times along the kayak and hike to point out interesting information about the plants and landscape. Definitely recommend this adventure!

We had an amazing day with Captain Matt and crew Gabe. They had great knowledge of the sites and we were able to see whales, dolphins and seals. They both had a great sense of humor and made the entire time fun.

Mitch and Ryker were amazing. They were both great at pointing out the local floral and fauna of the area, had a nice laid back attitude that we really enjoyed.

Kamili was a great guide. She explained about the flora and fauna and made sure everyone was all setup in the kayaks. She made an effort to learn everyone’s names which I really appreciated.

She gave a kayak demonstration at the beginning.

The home to Hidden Falls is flat, short and very easy. It was muddy in some sections as well as at the falls so I’d recommend closed-toe shoes with a tread - not street sneakers nor flip flops. I wore my Keens and that was perfect.

Some of the people in our group were in open-toed sandals with a strap - they seemed fine it again, I would suggest something closed to protect your toes as the trail is rocky with branches and debris.

We are fit, and in our early 40s. We’ve kayaked many times but it had been a couple years since our last kayak excursion. It was about 40 minutes of easy kayaking with the wind. On the way back, instead of kayaking upstream, we were picked up by a motorized boat and the kayaks were tied to the back. It was a really nice way to end the afternoon.

For a relaxing, easy, but adventurous activity on Kauai, do the kayaking + hike to Hidden Falls.

Jeremiah took us into the wilds and we didn't see another soul on the entire hike. Intimate knowledge of the land and the trails gave us a really unique window into Kauai.
