- BoulderNutSonoma, CA1,017 contributionsJust as expected on a visit to Hilo. Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and lots of people. Prices OK. - DannyWassermanVirginia Beach, VA4,107 contributionsWe visited the Volcanoes National park and then went to the Volcano Art Center Gallery and were not disappointed. There is so much collection of local art, clothing, accessories, and hand held art to purchase. We bought a few things. its always good to support local business.Written 23 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DebraB_SoCalLong Beach, CA5 contributionsThis was exactly what I was looking for - history, interesting stories, learning about coffee and how it is grown and processed and the added bonus was the other plants that are also grown here. I would allow at least 2 hours here to be safe - wait a bit on the front end for the next tour, a bit over an hour for the tour, then some time to shop afterwards. WELL worth my time!
Note: The tour is all walking/standing and on dirt/gravel paths. OK for someone with minor mobility issues (i.e. uses a cane) but I wouldn't recommend for anyone who can't stand for an hour. You don't walk FAR, the time is mostly spent listening to the stories and information.Written 3 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great produce and lots of options for fresh cooked food including Thai, Filipino, lemonade stand, smoothies, Mexican, Chinese, burgers, pizza, just to name a few. They have some picnic tables to hang out at while you eat. Friendly atmosphere and stand owners. Less stuffy and quality was better than the Hilo Farmer’s market.Written 29 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary Kay TWestminster, CO471 contributionsA fabulous gallery exhibiting the work of an amazing photographer!
Have you ever seen the lava bubbling inside a volcano? After a visit here, you will have! So many amazing photos of Hawaii that would make the perfect souvenir of your trip to the Big Island.
The customer service is tremendous and the owner and main photographer, Bruce Omori, is as talented as he is kind.

- Pam LSan Diego, CA33 contributionsThis tour was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and loved talking about Kona coffee. He knew his topic! We were able to see the entire process of how the coffee bean is picked, dried and roasted. Definitely a tour worth exploring if you love coffee.Written 21 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - atlas993Elk Grove, CA478 contributionsThere weren’t as many vendors as I expected, but we were able to find some souvenirs. It’s a nice pleasant place to shop outdoors.Written 2 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Catherine GCNew York City, NY19 contributionsAlthough I see some reviewers complaining many stores here are closed ,we very much appreciated having this shopping center just down the street when we stayed at Mauna Lani Point. My daughter and I enjoyed poking around the beachwear shops and grabbed her some flip flops. But the biggest draw was definitely the Foodland. Really solid selection of products, whether you want to pick up prepared foods or ingredients to cook at home, and staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They made every trip to the store A+. And we loved the selection of local products, esp. the chocolate and dried fruit.Written 12 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MIZT13Long Island, NY651 contributionsI have been there numerous times, last one November 2019. Vera and her husband are great people! Always fine artwork to look at and purchase! If you miss Hawaii like I do, can't wait until this is over so I can safely hop a flight and return to my favorite place to visit, just get on Vera's email list. You may see a piece of artwork that catches your eye and reminds you of your past vacations. If you do, just buy it!!!!! Ya need to bring the Aloha to your home for awhile!!!!🌈🌞🌸🏵️🌺🌸🌊Written 6 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RetiredAZtravelerGreen Valley, AZ60 contributionsOpen until noon on Saturday morning it's definitely worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from Kona. Then all your senses are flooded with music, art, and lots of local produce, baked goods and food. Long lines at the bakery and wide range of food options to choose from. Getting in/out and parking a little challenging but soon forgotten as you ponder all the choices.Written 4 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sue KLaguna Woods, CA594 contributionsParking tight, but plenty of it. Just a gem of a farmers market. It has everything. Plenty of local artists, bakers, coffee, produce and local cooked to order food choices. Music capped off the perfect mkt. Highly recommend the fresh from fryer banana malsadas. More than we expected.Written 27 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- NoraMilwaukee, WI27 contributionsWe liked Kings Shops but personally liked Queens Market Place better it had more stores and a better variety. The stores were not very interesting to us but the General Store was 10/10 we loved it! We probably went 5 different times and I would like to give a shoutout to Delson who works at the General Store he was so nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Overall I only go for the General Store I don't really like the other places.Written 22 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
