Pedro is a great guide. He is fluent in English and knows the undiscovered Panama that you do not see in the guidebooks.

Not only were we mesmerized by the art and architectural beauty of the theater but the performance tour was, by far, the most entertaining and informative one we have ever taken anywhere in the world!
Yingry Rodríguez and Christian Lopez provided our group a most interesting way in capturing and maintaining our attention by playing the President and First Lady during the time period the national theater was created as well as portraying workers seen painted on the ceiling within the theater. Both in costume with discreet changes of costume “off stage” while we were distracted with the tour by the other guide.
We took the 1pm Spanish-language tour. I am not sure if this is available in English but I would ask about either being available to enjoy when you purchase your tickets.
It is not to be missed!

Before you enter the area you are asked to washing your hands. Then you are given a wrist band. The hike to the bottom is about 500 steps. The steps are metal and evenly spaced making it easy to walk down. There are several places to stop and take a break if necessary. Below the waterfall is an area you can take off you shoes and wade in the water, Remember to take a towel to dry off your feet. If you are so inclined you can wear a bathing suite and get in but you will wear your bathing suite back up to the top as there are no changing rooms at the bottom, or bathrooms for that matter. The waterfall is definitely worth the walk down and back. Very beautiful.

We had such a great time here, the staff was so welcoming and attentive. It’s definitely a little island paradise. There’s so much to see and so many great pictures to take. Ronny our host was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. We also did the snorkeling and our tour guides Abel and Andrew were outstanding, we were all not experienced swimmers and they made us feel safe, we had a blast. We almost didn’t come because we had seen some negative and false stories about little French key on social media but we’re so glad we did not listen. It was totally fine, definitely worth it going.

First off, we are experienced hikers and found this to be a TOUGH hike. Definitely allow yourself a day or two in Lake Atitlan or Antigua to acclimate to the elevation. Even then, you’ll almost definitely feel the effects of the elevation. It took us 4 hours and was almost entirely at least a 45 degree climb through fine volcanic stones. Second, definitely go with a guide. The trail forks off multiple times and without a guide we certainly would have gotten lost. The guide companies also have a shelter and campfire at base camp, both necessary and worth it because it will almost certainly be cold and raining during the afternoon and evening. That said, this is a truly remarkable experience. We had the most amazing views when the clouds cleared around 11pm and 3pm and could hear the volcano erupting all night. This volcano is extremely active, erupting about every 20 minutes. We did the hike to the summit in the morning, which also provides amazing views if you’re lucky with the weather. If the weather isn’t great, staying at base camp will probably afford you some spectacular views as well because the volcano is more likely to be clear. Definitely pack good hiking boots, extra socks, warm pants, gloves, hat, and rain coat for base camp and the summit. Hiking poles or sticks will save you. Take your time and enjoy!

Close to amenities, steps from restaurants and cafés (Pico Bistro is highly recommended), replete with shops ranging from souvenirs, to apparel, to outdoor outfitting, and close to accommodations, Tamarindo beach has it all. Great swells, great surfing, but with a long shallow beach perfect for younger members of the family or those with mobility challenges. That being said, it’s status of being a popular tourist and surfing destinations also includes ubiquitous beach vendors and, of course, crowds. Although we’re based in Nosara, with its more rugged, stripped down and raw vibe, we drove in for the experience and had a wonderful time. Great for the whole family, and satisfies any interests.

We would have never had the experience without the help of our guide. He also took great pics of the animals through the telescope. Well worth it.

Altitude sickness can be a concern here. I was fine, my wife had to ride a horse ( about $40 for the climb and descent) . We started at 6,000 feet and climbed to 7,200.

Some parts of the trail were steep and challenging others were slightly challenging. If you're not used to altitude try belly breathing. Look it up, it helps.

Some of the people in our group had a pace that kept up from the lava flow, roasting marshmallows and pizza. We had a well-trained guide.

This is a great Zoo that has many different animals. It takes about an hour and half to see everything. Definitely worth checking out when in Guatemala City.

Beach was Beautiful !! I couldn't believe how warm the ocean water was. You had to walk a ways out for ithe water to get up to your waist. The tide was strong therefore the water was not clear and the inside you your swim wear was covered in sand. It was a great beach to surf on.

A quick stop here to document your Belize visit for a social media post is a must. Take a pic from behind the palms adds character and depth.

Convenient to town, stunning scenery, great birding. I read a previous review that had Felix’s contact card and was fortunate he was available as he was remarkable- both incredibly knowledgeable with next- level birding skills but also a gentle demeanor that made me very comfortable. I mean after all you sort of want to like the guide you’re spending the day with and he’s definitely the one. Highly recommend both the reserve and Felix.

Absolutely incredible. We saw so much active sea life and nurse sharks. Great snorkeling in a beautiful setting. Definitely a must do.
