The museum was free, conveniently located downtown beside the railroad tracks, had plenty of local history, history of the region, its growth, and had very knowledgeable docents that could answer any questions. The next day we came back for the walking tour of Lake Wales Ridge flora. They have artists on display with an opportunity to hear live music, drink some wine and socialize with the artist. - Rick DJupiter, FL585 contributionsGreat course to play, a lot of fun holes and unlike the typical Florida course, has hills and berms. It does have some boundary holes with houses, but for the most part, you're in nature. Wide fairways. Very Scottish feel to it, which is refreshing. Course was in great shape despite the lack of rain. Greens ran true. get the local players card and the green fees were $25. $25! Such value! Off the beaten path, which may be why it wasn't crowded, which is fine by me. The total program over the snowbird months offers many choices afternoon, evenings etc. All top notch shows. You can go wrong.
