Santa Anita Racetrack was an awesome Experience. We went for the Santa Anita Derby, Over the weekend there were so many things for the families to do. There was a Carnival, Wrestling matches and a vendor Day. Arcadia is a must see.

We had a wonderful time walking around the gardens. There were so many beautiful flowers and trees. Nice waterfall.

The turtles, fish, and peacocks were nice to see as well. It's such a relaxing place. A great escape from our busy day to day lives.

Situated on the expansive grounds of the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Garden in Arcadia, take time to closely inspect the exterior of the lovely Victorian Queen Anne Cottage on the shore of Baldwin Lake. The historic Baldwin Cottage was built during 1885-1886 as a honeymoon present from Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin for his fourth wife, sixteen year old Lillie Bennett, having been designed by architect Albert A. Bennett, Lillie's father. Unfortunately, the couple separated in 1885, the year following their marriage, at which time Mr. Bennett converted the romantic cottage into a memorial and tribute to his previous wife Jennie Dexter, who had passed away in 1881. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Hollywood notables have enjoyed this property; those familiar with "Fantasy Island" will find themselves exclaiming "de plane!; de plane!" upon their approach. Gorgeous setting, do walk the surrounding porch and admire the architectural details and stained glass on the cottage. Nearby, the high quality Victorian Coach Barn interior is accessible and should not be missed.

The mall is huge. Very clean and it was decorated for Chinese New Year, looked very nice. We were there on a Sat, closed at 9pm was the only downside.

I am a photographer and loved having a photoshoot here. The staff was friendly and there were many different sets to try out.

This is a beautiful, out-of-the-way location -- visited here many times for Scouting activities, but it has picnic areas and trails to explore.

The road in is a bit narrow, but worth the trek to the top of Arcadia!

I took my daughter for a birthday, since it's located at the Santa Anita mall, parking was not the easiest to find. Parents remember your socks if you want to just observe your children, they cost $2. Just another typical jump place for kids to play. Fun for kids, wish they had a coffee bar for the parents.

Interesting exhibits, not too small that someone might roll his eyes but not too big that you need a really long time to get through everything. Friendly, helpful staff.

First you have to drive up to the hills, parking lot is small, you may have to park along the hill, then walk all the way down the hills to see the falls. Waiting for you finished to walk up the hill back, that's tough.

The pack station is reportedly the last of its kind in the US. Donkeys for rent here take supplies to the cabins located up the canyon from the Chantry Flats area. The station has food, drink, and some basic supplies for cabin-dwellers and hikers. The donkeys are on site, in a pen behind an out building. The pack station is located adjacent to the National Park Service parking lot at Chantry Flats-an Adventure Pass or National Park Pass is required in the Park Service lot, but for a slightly larger fee you can park in the station lot. The hiking is good but the main trail starts down a long, steep road (easy out but a grind back up).

This is an interesting spot to see a remnant of history and provides a nice service for cabin dwellers and thirsty hikers.
