- Natalie2433 contributionsGreat fun activities to do solo or in family, great view of Jefferson memorial and the washingron momunent etc... you have 1 hour plenty of time to relaxe and enjoy the boat however I didn't like the courtesy of the person at the reception, he was cold and not welcoming. - Ken HSaint Louis, MO17 contributionsFantastic. Both Captain Denny and Captain Pete were terrific. We spent an hour and a half on the water. We saw the monuments by night and watched planes land at Reagan National airport from the water. Captain Pete has a wealth of knowledge. He was friendly, informative and engaging. Even my teenager enjoyed it! More importantly, these guys have Navy experience. You're in good hands on the water. Even before out trip, Captain Denny gave me some good advice on visiting DC. Having the whole boat and experience to ourselves, rather than being crammed into seats with a bunch of strangers, added immense value to this experience. I've lived here for a decade but I've never seen the Wharf, the War College, Nats Park, or really anything else south of the Key Bridge from the water. Enjoyed some great snacks, great tunes, and a great time out on the river on a wildly quiet boat with some great people! - OnAir7806401 contributionWow, great experience on the Potomac despite falling into the drink a few times. At age 75 I'm sure I was twice the age of the next oldest in my group of six SUP 1 learners. I started out well, but I volunteered to demonstrate getting back on the board from deep water. I did that proficiently but didn't realize that getting back on after a couple of falls would tire me out. But it didn't matter. Instructor Greg was fabulous, knowledgeable and experienced. He kept his eye on us and provided helpful suggestions. He always put our well-being and safety first. I definitely recommend this school despite -- or actually because -- it was more challenging for me than the others. From the moment we stepped onboard, the staff treated us like royalty, attending to every detail and making sure we felt completely at ease. The yacht itself was impeccably maintained, with stunning interiors, luxurious amenities, and every comfort you could imagine. The crew's professionalism and knowledge of the best locations made our trip unforgettable. - Miranda D4 contributionsOne of Shaod's employees driving a Shaod company truck in DC hit my personal vehicle. Shaod's employee did not have insurance information in the vehicle, Shaod would not answer his calls, nor would Shaod answer my phone calls. He would not take responsibility for his company vehicle damaging my personal vehicle. I do not recommend this company because a legitimate company would have taken responsibility for their employee actions in a company vehicle.
