The inside of the library is incredibly interesting, chock full of meaning. The one thing is I didn't time it right to actually go inside the reading room.

I went to see a specific exhibit highlighting crafts and sewing. I got to visit the various state rooms and learn cool history facts. I love old buildings and furnishings so getting to see rooms sponsored by different states and what the room looked like at specific times in history was very interesting. Also enjoyed visiting the library but mainly because the architecture of the building was interesting to me. Staff were very nice and helpful when asked.

A beautifully curated museum in central DC showcasing the highest number of Shakespeare first folios in the works. The folios are explained and on view in this fairly small museum. There is also an amazing collection of other first editions including European and American highlights.

A very interesting place. Stopped here because we had wanted to see an original "Federalist Papers" they have on display, very cool. This coupled well with our visit to the National Archives were we saw the Magna Carta, Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Great day of History. Here is a quick bit of info off their website as to what they are about. Love the DC history!

The Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship is an extension of the teaching mission of Hillsdale College to Washington, D.C. Its purpose is to teach the Constitution and the principles that give it meaning. Through the study of original source documents from American history—and of older books that formed the education of America's founders—the Center will seek to inspire students, teachers, citizens, and policymakers to return the Constitution to its central place in the political life of  the nation.
