What travellers are saying
- Coastal78450648 contributionsI love this drive! So many places to pull off and explore. You could easily spend a whole day exploring. There are plenty of stops that don’t take as long to see the sights. We didn’t get to do all the stops. That just gives us a good excuse to come back! Definitely recommend this drive!Written 27 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MarshaOrlando, FL121 contributionsWe'd heard and read so much about Diana's Baths that it was a "must do" for this vacation. We'd read that parking could be a problem so we got there about 8:45 on a Monday morning. Parking was no problem at that hour. We met just a few hikers on the path to the falls; so it was a delightful hike [about .08 mile] with a wide path with few roots and quite level the whole way. It was a beautiful quiet walk with wonderful scenery, rocks and boulders. Not long after getting to the beginning of the falls, more visitors started appearing and it was getting crowded. If you can climb large boulders, you can do get a picture-perfect views with gorgeous settings all around. This is a great hike and would suggest either early morning or later in the afternoon. It's only $5, that you pay by credit card and put the sticker on your dashboard. There are two bathrooms there, but they were filthy, just FYI. This is a must-do while in the White Mountains.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Debra G47 contributionsWe thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the gorge even in the rain! I can just imagine what it would have looked like in sunshine. Even with the rain, we did not find the trail slippery and was very doable for 2 senior citizens who walk a lot.Written 4 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gillian V1 contributionMy husband and I are retired and we spent the day at Santa’s Village together. It was a beautiful weekend day and the park was crowded, but the lines moved well. The food at the Burger Meister was very good. We love the new Midnight Flyer rollercoaster!Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sue B4 contributionsThe views were amazing! I was able to see the formation that Cannon Mountain was named after and I was so lucky to have visited during a celebration of the Old Man Of The Mountain!! I'll be back!Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cindy CHebron, OH16 contributionsI really loved this place. We had our 1 and 3 year old grand daughters with us and we had a great experience. I didn't understand from the advertising that the cost for the show, also included all of the shows and experiences available on the grounds. There are several things to do on site; a segway course, waterslide, bumper boats with water cannons, mystery house, 2 playsets, train ride, multiple shows, several unique shops, gift shops, and places for photo ops. There are changing rooms behind the anaconda water slide. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and complete with a nursing area (with rocking chairs, changing table and sink). Prices for food and drinks are more reasonably priced than most tourist spots. Highly recommend for younger children and the young at heart.Written 10 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BangkokSachseBangkok, Thailand51,441 contributionsWe went to Hampton Beach State Park near Hampton Bridge on Monday at 1 pm. The park officers went home early because it rained in the morning. We didn’t have to pay the entrance fee. The restrooms were well maintained. The park cleaner was helpful. The beach is clean and the water was clear. The water was too cold for us. I walked while my wife sat on the beach. We spent about one hour there.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - walsh3392Milford, MA2 contributionsPortsmouth is such a nice walking area. The highlight is market Square. There’s so much to do and see. Tour boats, great restaurants and pubs. Fun shops to visit. - MarshaOrlando, FL121 contributionsAfter taking a hike around Echo Lake State Park, we drove up and up and up to Cathedral Ledge. It's a beautiful place that overlooks the entire area and even the Echo Lake far below. This is an area where there are rock climbers, so it's about as scenic as you can have.Written 20 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffrey S4 contributionsAbsolutely STUNNING! From the caves to the views, brilliant!
It’s a bit of a walk, however as a bloated slob myself I wasn’t winded and got into all the caves except the Lemon Squeeze!
Gorgeous and impeccably clean.
Will be back!
Ohh 7 year old was able to get through without asking for a shoulder ride and the caves kept him super interested!

I loved how immersive it felt walking in and out of a bunch of historical homes. The staff were so informative, kind and welcoming. I especially want to shout out Chris who was doing the baking demonstrations. It is no easy task to maintain a large cooking fire in the middle of August in New England and he did it with a smile on his face. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter and we walked away having learned so much from him.Written 13 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dajwajNorth Conway, NH257 contributionsI went two days last wk , once w the older (11/10/7), and another day with the 2 and 4 yr old grandkids.
Both days my 5 grandkids had a wonderful happy day.
BUT I am astounded, and compelled to say CHARGING any amount for parking(no sign for free across the ST) is OUTRAGEOUS....... Given the high price of a walk up ticket >$75 for a 3yr old and up.
Website advertises online day tix for $39.99 and UP.... not on wkds, and not including the processing fee. The $29 and up senior tix was $43 online for sunday.
My daughter did spend $26 for a quick snack on way out=1 coffee, 1 fried dough, 2 ice cream dips.
They were happy, and yes, I will return, but only 1X/yr and only midwk in the future.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Operators very friendly. Excellent safety measures! Only disappointment was the original zip line skimming tree tops no longer operational…we had all looked forward to that.DueWritten 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jill HMorristown, NJ61 contributionsFun for everyone! We rode a wooden roller coaster (Yankee Cannonball), and the newest roller coaster (Untamed) which is smooth and fast and fun! We rode the Venetian Carousel, the Sky Ride, the Rowdy Roosters, the Antique Cars, the Canobie Express, ate huge ice cream cones and a Dole Whip Flight, yum!. Then we spent an hour floating around the Castaway Island Tidal River. We had a great day! The park is clean and the staff was friendly. We're looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nico Samneil Sy SaladoNewport, VT1,928 contributionsIt is really near the carpark so you actually dont sweat when you reach it. And the roads are paved especially going to the handicap viewing area. Not that stroller friendly due to the natural landscape of the ground. On the way to the basin you could see the river and some minor falls for more enjoyment of the walk.Written 25 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
