- Marcy S3 contributionsSanta's Village is wonderful! We had a great day although it did rain in the afternoon and my son-in-law's car had problems and needed to be towed back to the Boston area. We were staying in North Conway but had no way to get back as car rentals are scarce in the Jefferson area, especially on Labor Day weekend. Mark Ridley, head of customer service and the grounds, listened to our dilemma and could not have been more patient, kind and accomodating by offering my family of 5 a mini-van ride back to our hotel in North Conway. Thanks also goes to Caleb who drove us over an hour! Luckily, my husband's car seats 5, so we were all set to go home the next day. Mark, Caleb and all the other employees we came in contact with were so pleasant and helpful. Thank you all! Santa would be proud!Written 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cindy CHebron, OH16 contributionsI really loved this place. We had our 1 and 3 year old grand daughters with us and we had a great experience. I didn't understand from the advertising that the cost for the show, also included all of the shows and experiences available on the grounds. There are several things to do on site; a segway course, waterslide, bumper boats with water cannons, mystery house, 2 playsets, train ride, multiple shows, several unique shops, gift shops, and places for photo ops. There are changing rooms behind the anaconda water slide. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and complete with a nursing area (with rocking chairs, changing table and sink). Prices for food and drinks are more reasonably priced than most tourist spots. Highly recommend for younger children and the young at heart.Written 10 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dajwajNorth Conway, NH257 contributionsI went two days last wk , once w the older (11/10/7), and another day with the 2 and 4 yr old grandkids.
Both days my 5 grandkids had a wonderful happy day.
BUT I am astounded, and compelled to say CHARGING any amount for parking(no sign for free across the ST) is OUTRAGEOUS....... Given the high price of a walk up ticket >$75 for a 3yr old and up.
Website advertises online day tix for $39.99 and UP.... not on wkds, and not including the processing fee. The $29 and up senior tix was $43 online for sunday.
My daughter did spend $26 for a quick snack on way out=1 coffee, 1 fried dough, 2 ice cream dips.
They were happy, and yes, I will return, but only 1X/yr and only midwk in the future.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We rode a wooden roller coaster (Yankee Cannonball), and the newest roller coaster (Untamed) which is smooth and fast and fun! We rode the Venetian Carousel, the Sky Ride, the Rowdy Roosters, the Antique Cars, the Canobie Express, ate huge ice cream cones and a Dole Whip Flight, yum!. Then we spent an hour floating around the Castaway Island Tidal River. We had a great day! The park is clean and the staff was friendly. We're looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lori MFall River, MA4 contributionsLove the park! But I have to tell you I have been going to this Waterpark for the past 19 years and I noticed that these last past few years the lifeguards do not take their job seriously. But Sunday when I was in the hot tub I heard the whistle go off a few times and it was Ryder the lifeguard. I actually told him that he did a job well done watching out for the kids and they were doing things they were not suppose to and he was right on top of it.. I haven’t heard lifeguards be on top of it like he was. Way to go Ryder!Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BeachRock77Boscawen, NH129 contributionsStayed in N. Conway for two nights with our granddaughter. Went to Storyland one day. Fun time, but she’s 8, so a bit young for her. We really enjoyed Schouler, the town park. Great playground and splash pad for the littles. Tuesday night there was an outdoor market, food vendors, band concert and lots of friendly people. Cathedral Ledge, Diana’s Bath waterfalls, Echo Lake park, Kancamagus and the scenic railway are close by. Something for everyone. Expect large crowds and traffic during fall foliage.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris NHaverhill, MA9 contributionsFeels like Water Country needs a bit more love, sure they've repainted things, but we were faced with a closed Lazy River, lack of a stationed "Guard" for our cabana area and just an odd "Freshly painted but still run down" feel of the place. Was an overcast day so the lines weren't bad, poor quality food, got a gross chocolate shake with no straws (They clog the drains, as we were told) and an almost inedible fried dough that felt dense as leather.
That being said, the slides were great, the whirlpool and wavepools were fun, and maybe to make up for the lack of a lazy river both pools were filled with extra tubes to use. It was an enjoyable day, just feels like more attention is needed.Written 11 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chaqueetaHyannis, MA537 contributionsI felt it was overpriced, lacking in actors and boring. I’ve been to many haunted hayrides & houses and get scared at least a couple times. Not even one time here. It isn’t what it use to be years ago. I did like the pumpkin lanterns during the hayride and a couple other things. I wouldn’t go again though.Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Teresa9 contributionsMy kiddo had such a great time playing in the bounce house, interactive floor games, and more! She met new friends along the way too. It was a perfect place to have found on our vacation!Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alana KConcord, NH152 contributionsThis simple course is great for those young and old. It is right at the traffic circle near the Weirs. It overlooks the channel going from the big lake into Paugus Bay. There aren't any crazy holes here, just simple fun. The grounds are pretty well maintained. It is clean. The gentleman working there was attentive and polite. It is currently open until 10, which is nice if you are looking for something to do after dinner time. The flowers are nice. It doesn't take long to play he course. For whatever reason the arcade was closed when we were there, but it looked clean and well maintained.Written 13 August 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
