Surrounded by renovated old buildings in 90% , looking good ! Quite a few restaurants to sit and eat or drink after a 15-20 min walk in streets around which has the same style.
Night gives a different athmosphere visit if you can.

On our small trip to town Tabor, we visited this tiny gallery/museum and we weren't dissapointed. Friendly cozy place, mainly focused on kids, with workshops, where they can selfmade chocolate.

The Pilgrimage Church is well worth the walk through the woods and up the slope from Tabor. Don’t be put off by the locked door as you approach as the entry point is just a little further on via a gateway in the walled enclosure surrounding the Church. The site marks the place where local children saw a vision of the Virgin Mary. The Baroque church has been beautifully restored and sits in a small garden and is surrounded by small chapels built into the enclosing walls.

The town of Tabor, meaning camp was founded in 1482 and the catacombs were defences agains enemy armies.
They connect all the houses along the main square.
Guided tour is worth, as much would be missed without explanation.

Táborská Zoo je velikostí a skladbou chovaných zvířat naprosto dostačující pro několikahodinové strávení času jak pro dospělé tak i dětí. Dobrá dostupnost autem i městskou dopravou včetně vlakové zastávky "Elinky", tedy další velmi oblíbené atrakce.

Tábor Zoo is the size and composition of kept animals absolutely sufficient for several hours of spending time for both adults and children. Good accessibility by car and public transport, including the train station "Elinky", another very popular attractions.

This very modern observation tower is on a ridge a few kilometres from Tabor. It provides panoramic views over the local area. There is a slot machine at the base that takes your admission money. There is no lift.

A pleasant place to stroll around this interesting small town with its historical links to the Hussites. There’s a linking footpath through the woods from the walls to the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Our Lady a short distance outside the Town

An oasis of peace in the heart of the historic town of Tabor offers not only peace but also a unique example of plants and trees from all over the world. In spring, everything blooms and in autumn you see an incredible range of colors.
The main emphasis, however, is not an example of the economic system and so the individual plants are sorted by importance (forage, cereals, vegetables, herbs, etc.).
We should not forget the beautiful arboretum and greenhouses focused on desert and subtropical flora.

There is a small museum at that castle nowadays. For public is open a tower with a nice view of Tábor, too. It doesn't take long time to see everything here and it is a nice "trip to past time".
Admission is 30,- CZK per adult. Takeing pictures from the tower is free, but if you want to take pictures in the museum, you have to buy photo permission.
