I will start up by saying we all agreed this is a highly recommended activity when in Budapest. In 3 hours we saw so much of the city and experienced Budapest in a short amount of time it was well worth It. Our guide was knowledgeable and also had a pre-recorded dialogue which was quite interesting as we drove Our guide was knowledgeable and also had a pre-recorded dialogue which was quite interesting as we drove. Also he picked us up at our Hilton hotel and offered to drop us off anywhere in the city which was very nice. Again, highly recommended.

We fond this concert in TS's Things to Do section and it looked very interesting. St Stephen's is a beautiful and huge Cathedral and we have taken many pictures of it from the outside and the inside. We have enjoyed the peaceful calm inside and have been blown away by the sound of the bells that left us shaking one Easter.

So, this organ concert was a standout thing that we thought we had to do.

We were offered a variety of music, all centred on the organ, solo, instrumental accompaniment and vocal. What kept this from being a 5 star experience was the weakness in the vocal performances, a former Budapest opera star in his 60's or 70's who had the timbre but no longer the depth and who was over powered by even the lightest touch on the organ.

Nit picky I know, but that is why I cannot give this a 5.

The whole thing was well organized and efficiently managed and a very good memory for us.

    Recommended.

On a whim, I decided to make an appointment at the Cold War Park.

I had been on an Eastern European road trip and thought that a stop at the park would be an interesting experience at the tail-end of my trip. The owner of the company, Gabor, was extremely helpful and quite responsive when trying to coordinate and set everything up via email. He was also exceedingly polite, patient, and cooperative with my requests to make the experience as "realistic" as possible.

Gabor and I also had a chance to chat a bit after the session. He proved himself to be extremely articulate and knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics running the gamut from Cold War history to politics and current events. It was a sincere pleasure to chat with him.

If you are interested in experiencing a bit of the "Iron Curtain" in a fun and dynamic way, I highly advise you to set up an appointment, you won't regret.

My husband and I were visiting from New York City where we see a ton of live music so we have high standards. Budapest Jazz House blew us away. It was the most spectacular experience and Jzolt was SO accommodating from the very beginning. We loved being welcomed into a local’s home, meeting other friendly locals, the vibe/lighting/food was perfect, and of course the jazz- wow. These are the best of the best professionals giving you the most intimate private performance. Definitely a highlight of our 2 week Eurotrip, if we find ourselves back in Budapest we will 100% be back- don’t miss out!!!

We went on an exciting day trip from Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest and it was an interesting experience to get to know two cities in one day, since we had little time from our vacation in Vienna. The tour provided a perfect blend of history, culture and breathtaking sights which made it a good experience. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

The tour was quite enjoyable. Tamas gave me an insight to the history of Hungary, he was able to explain the background behind the surface during a seemingly simple tour in the central part of Budapest. I recommend the tour for everybody having a deeper interest in Hungary's history and its present time.
