The place was rather busy at the time of our visit setting up for the firework display in a couple of days. We did not have enough time to do the walk justice but still felt a clm whe looking at the 5 scupltures of the greatest intellectual thinkers of our times. . The message of the garden our tour guide explained is "For a better understanding of each other."Stunning piece of art.

St.Stephen's Park is located in the 13th district in Budapest which borders on to the Danube and has views of Margaret Island. This was our local park during our short stay and we had views of it from our apartment. Judging by the noise It is a well used local park with people out for a walk, with their dog and on one Sunday afternoon the place of a music event.

Europa Liget is a nice small park at the entrance of the Buda Castle.
It is situated under the walls of the historic Castle District, near the Vienna Gate. The park was opened in 1972, on Budapest's 100th birthday. Interestingly, the trees that can still be found here today were planted by the leaders of European cities, each choosing a tree species that is typical of their country but can also withstand the Hungarian climate.

We walked through this garden near the Millennium Haza and the Music Museum. It was nicely landscaped with perennial flowers and special interest gardens. Nice hardscape including water features.

There were also some interactive displays near the Music Museum that were popular with children.

Hungary's first Garden for the Blind, specially designed for the blind and visually impaired, has been renovated in Varosliget. The almost one-hectare Garden of the Blind was built in 1972, so after almost half a century it was renovated and modernized.
The garden will remain enclosed and will continue to be fully accessible to the blind and visually impaired. In addition to maintaining the original structure, special paved radial paths and boulevards for orientation have been rebuilt.

It's worth taking a stroll under the old trees of the Horváth Garden, before continuing to the neighbouring Vermezo in the opposite direction under the Taban trees. But it's also a few minutes' walk from here to get to River Danube through the tunnel, to Clark Ádám Square, from where you can climb up to Castle Hill.

It is a beautiful small park. It is just a 2-3 minute walk from Kosztolanyi Dezso Square.
There are several entrances and there is also little hill with pathways.
It is very a relaxing island in the busy city!

Ottlik Garden is indeed sufficiently complex and thoughtful, but with much more sophisticated references, in a way that is in keeping with the writer's work, almost woven into the park.
