A useful marker to know what part of the town / river that you are located. Looks at its beat in the evening when it is illuminated. Certainly lends itself well to the photographer.

Our holiday let was very near, so was a useful marker in the first day or two. Motor vehicles and trams use this bridge and when the latter go across it doesn't half rattle and hum.

Serves two purposes, river bank to river bank and river bank to Margaret Island. Tram stops are located on the bridge itself so makes life easy for everyone.

Magnificent structure built across the Danube River. Clearly a challenge to those the built it. Both, vehicle and peatonal cross.

walked over this bridge on our first night in budapest. traffic goes pretty fast on it and you have to walk single file as the cyclists go pretty fast too. took a few nice pics and walked to a bar by the river not too far from it. good bridge for us as we have good memories already of it

Megyeri Bridge is the youngest bridge over the River Danube on the outskirts of Budapest.
It was opened in 2008 and it is a nice modern achtitecture. You can cross it by car (2*2 lanes) bycicle or walking. It is 1,800 meter long.

Walking through Varosliget ( City Park ) I came across this wonderful looking bridge ,named in honour of Robert Wünsch the construction contractor ,one of the most prominent figures in reinforced concrete at the time ,the bridge was completed in 1896 and served the now defunct Millennium Metro Station ,it's great to view ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate in Varosliget .

Walking over the bridge that brings you from Heroes Square to Varosliget ( City Park ) I couldn't help but notice what a great looking bridge this is ,named in honour of Szilard Zielinski ,the first doctor of engineering in Hungary ,the pioneer of reinforced concrete construction ,the bridge looks superb ,very photogenic ,it's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Kos Karoly Stny.
