My first time "witnessing" this Cathedral, I was sitting at home, wide-eyed, watching Rick Steves tour Prague, and subsequently, touring this Cathedral. I knew then I had to see it in person. It's magnificent and easily one of the most beautiful places you have the opportunity to step into. If you can only step into one church in Prague, make it this one. You will not be disappointed. The interior gives a medieval castle vibe, and is full of art. Take your time to absorb it all, no one is chasing you out. This cathedral is in the Gothic architectural style and its exterior is as impressive as its interior.
Lines to get inside can be long, so make sure you buy your entry ticket (just across the way from the entrance) before getting in line. No ticket. No entry.

I visited the Lobkowicz Palace with my girlfriend last year through the Prague card and we were astonished at the beauty of this site. The palace was built in the mid-16th century at the behest of the Lobkowicz noble family. Over the centuries the family accumulated an impressive collection of decorative arts objects, military and hunting equipment, musical artefacts, and classical paintings. The highlights of the collection are the Hay Harvester by the Flemish painter Pieter Brueghel the Elder and two beautiful views of London by the renowned Italian artist Canaletto. The collection includes numerous portraits of members of the European aristocracy from the Lobkowicz family, as well as their relations, but we didn't spend a lot of time looking at them as we didn't find them that interesting. The interior of the palace is absolutely spectacular and if you're a fan of classical music, it may be worth booking a combined museum and concert ticket for one of the classical concerts that take place in the Baroque concert hall in the early afternoon on a daily basis.

The palace is situated in the Prague Castle complex but it's very easy to miss, which would be a shame as it's definitely worth a visit. Make sure you listen to the excellent audio guide and take the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view of Prague from the palace's terrace.

Who knows, as trip advisor would appear to have done exactly that with their description, and therefore so have a lot of contributors. However, the map point and the majority of reviews and photos for this listing are for the wonderful late gothic and early baroque church that dominates the northwest corner of the Old Town Square. This one is more a Late gothic church which was built between 1732-1737 on the site of a former gothic church from the 13th century which was also dedicated to Saint Nicholas. It is free to enter, and regular services are held at St. Nicholas. It is also used as a magnificent venue for ticketed classical concerts, which are staged early evening, several times a week.
The other St. Nicholas Church in the Lesser Town is probably the most famous baroque church in Prague and stands together with the former Jesuit Professed House in the middle of Malostranské náměstí (Lesser Town Square).
My advice would be, in order to avoid confusion, visit both.

This half-an-hour tour is magically directed by Daniel, the prepared guide who’s introducing visitors into the museum. With his wisdom on alchemy he will tell Praha’s stories along centuries. Definitely this museum deserves a visit. No credit card or bancomat accepted, only cash!

A wonderful memorial to an extraordinary event. The bravery of the parachutists is legendary and yet it is the common Czech families that helped them that will stay with me. Although free, I encourage you to make a donation! A must see.

Beautiful Venue with a screen at every seat so that you can follow along in English if you need to. Comfortable seating but be sure not to get a seat behind a column

Perhaps the most imposing structure in Prague's Old Town, Tyn is easy to spot, yet tricky to find the entrance for. But that adds to the charm, it's like a secret passage. Tyn stands out, like it's keeping an eye over the Old Town. A Gothic church with plenty of aesthetic character. I found my way inside and was struck by how lovely it is. Definitely take your time admiring the pieces and the atmosphere itself, everything within is worth your consideration. There is no entrance fee, but a small donation is requested, which I always provide. You can also buy post cards with professionally done photos of some aspects of the church. They are inexpensive and during my experience, they relied on the honor system.
