Incredible square in the centre of Prague and yes while it's become quite touristy, there is no doubting the incredible detailed townhouses that surround the square and small atmospheric alleyways that feels like a Eastern European spy movie.

This is a must-do activity while in Prague. We spent a half day and bought the ticket for the first four activities. The Cathedral, the golden lane, the basilica, and old palace- it was plenty to see for a short day. We did walk to the top and the walk really was not too bad- steep, but we walked up worse in Portugal. Walking down was completely fine. It was nice being there in the winter because I can imagine how busy this area must be in the Summer.

When you've seen one cathedrals you think you've seen them all right? You might need to rethink that once you see this place. Its scale and beauty (stained glass windows are amazing) really make it stand out from the crowd and if you only have a short time in Prague make sure this is one of the things you come and see. It will take your breath away.

Wow! All I can say is Wow and Thank you, Sebastian! We were running about ten minutes late when I received a phone call from Sebastian! I told him we were on our way. He waited for us. Thanks to the entire group for being so patient. Sebastian was full of knowledge, history and energy. He was a delight. Thanks, again, Seb, for a wonderful morning! Keep up the fantastic job!

A beautiful area also known as "Lesser Town" with some very pretty streets and incredible buildings. St Nicholas Church is beautiful. The Nerudova street is particularly fabulous with lots of little shops, cafes, bars on the way up to the castle area. Nearest Metro station is Malostranka.

Beautiful synagogue in moorish style. Go upstairs and see another view. It’s part of the Jewish Museum along with other synagogue.

An easy walk if moderately fit & you'll be rewarded with spectacular views across the city from Petrin park. Its a peaceful tree lined walk in the most and a nice change from pounding the cobbled streets of Prague city.

I visited the Lobkowicz Palace with my girlfriend last year through the Prague card and we were astonished at the beauty of this site. The palace was built in the mid-16th century at the behest of the Lobkowicz noble family. Over the centuries the family accumulated an impressive collection of decorative arts objects, military and hunting equipment, musical artefacts, and classical paintings. The highlights of the collection are the Hay Harvester by the Flemish painter Pieter Brueghel the Elder and two beautiful views of London by the renowned Italian artist Canaletto. The collection includes numerous portraits of members of the European aristocracy from the Lobkowicz family, as well as their relations, but we didn't spend a lot of time looking at them as we didn't find them that interesting. The interior of the palace is absolutely spectacular and if you're a fan of classical music, it may be worth booking a combined museum and concert ticket for one of the classical concerts that take place in the Baroque concert hall in the early afternoon on a daily basis.

The palace is situated in the Prague Castle complex but it's very easy to miss, which would be a shame as it's definitely worth a visit. Make sure you listen to the excellent audio guide and take the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view of Prague from the palace's terrace.

It was a fun experience. This modern art object is so cool. Also it’s beautiful how it’s reflect the sky and things around because it’s a silver color. After that you can take a walk and even get to the city center or Charles Bridge.

The best thing we did in Prague - we went to the orchestra concert here. It’s worth money spent! Building, acoustics, service - great.

When in Prague, browse this church. Steeped in history and many interesting relics, artworks to view. Limited parking then a walk up the hill, though could be steep for older people.

We found this memorial overwhelming and now appreciate how much the Czech people gave up to assasinate Heydrich and to make a stand against the Nazis. We owe them alot. This should be definitely in the top 10 of places to visit in Prague if you are interested in history. The staff were very polite and happy to answer any questionsthat we had.

Yes, the HradÄŤany district is home to Prague Castle, one of the largest enclosed palace complexes in the world and most people come to this district of Prague for that. But you really should plan to explore the rest of the Hradcany district as part of your trip.
The gardens surrounding the castle and the winding streets of Hradčany are great for exploring on foot and there are so many hidden gems, such as the little street Nový Svět with houses from the 17th century. I would start with Hradčanské square which consists of a number of historical houses and palaces, such as The Schwarzenberg Palace, with its National Gallery’s collection of Baroque art and The Archbishops Palace. The Square is connected to the castle courtyard and the western entrance gate to Prague Castleand on the south side there is a terrace with spectacular views of the city.
From Hradčanské Square take the main road and pass Loretto Church and Černínský palác gradually rising to Strahov, and the unmissable Strahov Monastery (good for its architecture but with the advantage of beers from the Monastery Brewery).
Then you can get the 22 Tram back to the Old Town or head downwards into Lesser Town, another excellent area of Prague worth exploring.

Perhaps the most imposing structure in Prague's Old Town, Tyn is easy to spot, yet tricky to find the entrance for. But that adds to the charm, it's like a secret passage. Tyn stands out, like it's keeping an eye over the Old Town. A Gothic church with plenty of aesthetic character. I found my way inside and was struck by how lovely it is. Definitely take your time admiring the pieces and the atmosphere itself, everything within is worth your consideration. There is no entrance fee, but a small donation is requested, which I always provide. You can also buy post cards with professionally done photos of some aspects of the church. They are inexpensive and during my experience, they relied on the honor system.
