Even in the cold, (we didnt prepare well) this is a very cool way to explore some of the cities historic landmarks. It was jusy my partner and myself on the tour so felt like it was a private tour, and our tour guide, Randall, was amazing!! For my partner and myself, it was Randall's energy that really made this tour a great experience. Pura vida, mi vacan!! Great appreciation for Mick also, at headquarters. Both of u made our first day in Prague unforgettable. We will come back, thank you so much. 100% recommend anyone experiencing Prague this way.

I teach History, so know all about this place, but it was my mum who was really desperate to go. It was an informative and enjoyable trip. Peter, the guide, was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, & I particularly enjoyed his commentary on the way to Terezin as he spoke about the History of Prague as well as pointing out important landmarks from WW2, e.g the location of the assassination of Reinhard Heiydrich. What was slightly disappointing is that the trip did feel quite rushed and rather passive and it wasn’t Peter who took us around the small fortress, it was a member of staff but then Peter repeated some information after that so feel that could have been coordinated better. My mum has a walking stick and the amount of walking with no stops or time for food (the teenager was a bit tired too) would be something to consider, especially since we’d left our hotel at 11am and were not back until 7pm. We had brought lunch with us and snacked on it, but we weren’t sure if we were ‘allowed’ so made it a little awkward. There’s not enough time to do everything of course and it still a worthwhile trip and important historical site to visit , but would just suggest that the layout of the visit is communicated more clearly at the beginning with clear overview of walking expectations etc ( we didn’t know we would be going down a 500 meter long tunnel underground with stairs and uneven ground for example), that there’s more coherent overview between guides & that perhaps a little bit more interaction with individual guests where possible, eg checking for understanding or focusing on one key era. The day was quite foggy and there was snow from the previous day but don't let that put you off as it created its own unique feel (although water proof shoes would have come in handy). Only here for a quick trip but feel we learnt a lot and saw a lot. I would really recommend, nice touches by the company (gloves, drink). Felt clean completely safe. Thanks. Our guide was Tatiana and she was excellent! She was knowledgeable, engaging and well aware of all the people in the group. She provided a ton of information in the afternoon tour, gave good overview of the churches and cathedral history, background information along the way to Kutna Hora. Well worth the money and time. Linda, our local guide had so much information to share and brought us around to see as much of the city as she could in our allotted time. She gave us lots of tips and was willing to help and answer any questions we asked. Our driver Balazs was so kind and also shared lots of wonderful history regarding Austria and the Czech Republic. Eva is sweet, has a nice calm energy even while navigating throngs of tourists, and is so knowledgable about the history of the area, which is always a complicated amalgamation of culture, politics, religion, art, and architecture. She loves sharing information about her culture and history and it really showed.
We packed in quite a bit in the 3 hours we were together, though I suspect we didn't even get 1% of what she has stored in her head! It was just my husband and I, and we were thankful to have done the private tour, as covering as much ground as we did would have been quite tricky with a group. - Brenda M4 contributionsHad an amazing time going to Dresdenand to the terezin Memorial. It was cold but made rhe experienceall more enjoyable trekking thru Bohemian Switzerland forest . The best part though was our guide Peter. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always positive about everything. He truly made the experience and trip an experience to remember. We learned so much and even got a list of activities to further enhance our knowledge of the trip a x of all history.
