San Juan Cemetery San Juan, Puerto Rico
#10 of 66 Sights & Landmarks in San Juan Metro Region
The tombs are gorgeous and there's a captivating view of the ocean, and you can walk around quietly despite the cemetery being located right by popular tourist spots.
It is a short walk downhill from the fortress, across the fields where locals picnic and fly kites, but it is absolutely worth both the view of the fortress and the sculptures on the graves.
