What travellers are saying
- EmmaPerth, Australia281 contributionsVery cool
So much history ....so many steps ..lol
We had a great guide " Garry" very knowledgeable, he is actually a geologist...and you can tell.
The depth of history this cave has is astounding.
The lake makes it so magical.
The hardest part is the climb back to the top...but just take your time...its definitely worth a visit.

Not very arduous for those who are older like us and very interesting in the viewing and listening throughout the tourWritten 8 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was beautiful, we were there for about a hour but managed to visit the farm animals and feed them, sit down with a beautiful view and enjoy THE BEST CHIPS and that's not a lie served by the wonderful owner Mike, to which we had a pint of ginger beer for my partner and a hazy IPA for me all from Margaret River.
Thank you for making our experience amazing, even though we were there for a short time.
We will be back. 5 stars.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - AJH41 contributionsVery nice clean beach, very popular for walking In the water with local rays.
Sadly on our visit the sea was a little rough and the rays didn't show up.
Still a beautiful beach, toilet block and shower in the car park.
Easy to spend a few hours layzing.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - luodwyerPerth, Australia6 contributionsWhat a fantastic centre. It’s excellent that they re-hab raptors where possible. If not possible, they live out their best life at the sanctuary. Whilst also providing education for people. The staff were wonderful & knowledgable. The little shop had some lovely gifts. The 1km walk was beautiful around the grounds, looking at resident birds. The flight show with an owl and Kites was really amazing. Would re-visit. Lovely experience whilst contributing to a not for profit organisation. Kids 9 & 12 enjoyed.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tameka B1 contributionThe taste testing and experience was amazing! The variety and service was outstanding and the pricing/deals really made the trip worth it!! - Dan LBunbury, Australia9,016 contributionsLovely small beach area but not on the Monday when we visited, wind cold and gusting and no one braved the sands. Like others, we took refuge at the cafe and enjoyed a warm coffee and meal while watching some distant surfers.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gfsc5Perth, Australia1,815 contributionsI don't usually review roads but will make an exception this time. Caves Road is a narrowish, winding, sealed road that takes you past wineries and through some lovely timbered countryside. It has a sensible speed limit but drivers need to be alert nevertheless.
Well worth taking a drive.Written 7 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We would love to come here again. The art gallery downstairs is beautiful too! One tip: check the maps and don’t take the horrible dirt road entrance of Steven’s Road. The road is in very poor condition, so approach from the north end instead!!Written 16 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kimwillruleSingapore, Singapore6,894 contributionsBorranup Karri Forest, Western Australia: It’s hard to tire of the turquoise and deep blue seas but when you do, drive into the lush greens of Borranup, south of Margaret River. Part of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, it’s an easy walk and a different character from the blue seas. #eatstylishtravelstylishWritten 28 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
