    Well curated but ride can be hot and sultry
    The trip is well curated and we ended up tasting 25+ wines through the day. The wine and cheese experience as well as the production tour were the highlights of the day. It's incredibly good value for money. We even had a photo op with some wild kangaroos! Lunch is a good quantity and you can choose from a set menu. The vehicle is a Mercedes mini bus and they carry full capacity per trip so that's 14 pax with 2 riding in front with the driver. The ride can get a little hot with the ac getting frequently turned off (to save fuel, I'm guessing) and can be pretty stuffy in the last row. The driver (Tom) was cheery but his sense of humor is a little off and time management could be a little better. But all in all, it was a great trip.

    A great way to experience the hunter valley
    A great experience. The tour guide Julz was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and was an excellent host despite not being an actual fat bloke. The bus was comfortable and air conditioning was great on the 35 degree day we visited. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese matching session at the fat blokes cellar door. Would definitely do another fat blokes tour given the chance.

    Hunter Valley beauty and wildlife
    Spectacular day in the Hunter Valley. Sam was knowledgeable and friendly, and the day was paced perfectly between wildlife, food, and wine. The small group was intimate enough for us to make new friends. Even saw some wild kangaroos hopping around at one of the wineries. It was a day we won’t forget!

    Highly Recommended Tour of Hunter Valley!
    Highly recommended private tour of the Hunter Valley!

    My kids wanted to visit an alpaca farm in the Hunter Valley during our recent trip Down Under. I wasn't sure if I could find a private tour agency who could do this for us given that most tours to Hunter Valley are focused around the wineries. But James from Cloud9 was so helpful in putting together this trip to the alpaca farm (Starlight Alpaca Farm) and combined it with a cheese tasting to make the most of our time in the valley.

    Our guide for the day, Greg, was so friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The kids loved him by the end of the day and one week on from our tour, they're still looking for their 'Uncle Greg'. I later learnt from Greg that this was in fact the first time they had taken a group to this particular alpaca farm. So if you want to do something off the beaten track, don't hesitate to check them out.

    The vehicle for the day, a 7-seater Mercedes was clean and comfortable. Definitely book these guys if you want to have a memorable day out in the comfort of your own vehicle!

    Lovely wine tour of Hunter Valley :)
    Ben was an excellent tour guide for the day. Was punctual to arrive at our accommodation for the pick up and on the ride into Hunter Valley, he did not forget to guide us through the amazing natural scenery available just within Sydney. He was also quite knowledgable with Aussie wines too.

    We managed to visit 4 wineries on the day- Tyrrells, Brokenwood (light lunch there too), Audrey Wilkinson & Viden Wines. To top if off we visited the chocolate factory for a simple tasting.

    We had a blast :) not to mention how we were blessed with amazing blue skies and sunny weather on the day.

    Day trip to the country with wild kangaroo sitings
    Todd picked us up in Sydney and was a real pro. He got us there and back safely and even dropped off a few of the guests along the way near where they lived which was very kind of him. We saw kangaroos roaming wild at two the of vineyards which was very cool to see. I'm not a big vodka/gin drinker, so I can't comment on the quality of the spirits. For the wines, I would say I preferred the whites over the reds even though my preference is for full body reds. That's just what this particular region seems to grow better. It was nice to see the countryside and get out of the city. It's a fairly long day, so just make sure you're up for a two hour ride from Sydney to Hunter Valley each way. Wine tastings and gin/vodka tastings are included along with a lunch (we had pizza). Good value for a full day trip and would recommend.

    Highly recommended.
    We had a great day. Very well organised and lovely to sit back and be a drinking passenger, Fabulous food and wine in 3 different boutique wineries. The first one was my favourite, great to sit outside and learn about the wines from Sam, who was knowledgable, fun and relaxed. Delicious food and just the right amount. No need to eat when we got home1

    It was also fun to do this experience with 2 other couples, we got on like a house on fire.

    Amazing Day! You should absolutely do this tour
    It was amazing! Steve was such a funny and great guide, Hunter Valley is beautiful and the group was great too. I had a super duper great day, I can absolutely recommend it!
    Only thing I'd change is offer a free water bottle on the bus, we got water at the Vineyards but an own water bottle would be nice.
    Other than that, it was perfect!
    Found some new wines that I will definitely order when I'm back home

    Excellent tour in Hunter Valley
    We were met by our driver/guide, Mark, on time (gotta love that) and were taken to the Hunter Valley area. En route Mark gave us lots of history and information about Sydney, a number of the areas we traveled through, and the Hunter Valley area. He told us about each winery (& the distillery) before we reached it which was helpful. Each tour was excellent & lunch was very good with a good selection of options. He stopped halfway in both directions so we could stretch our legs a bit and grab a tea or coffee. I recommend this tour as a great way to learn about some of the wines being made in this region of Australia.

    A delightful experience
    We had a girls trip of 5 and booked the mystery wine tasting. It was a very refreshingly unique experience especially after we’d done 3 other tastings and the quality of the cheese and charcuterie board provided was A+. The wine itself was great and our wonderful host Sam took care of us so well, answering all our questions in depth and making sure to keep things interesting. Would hands down recommend and compliments to Sam for keeping us entertained and even helping us take photos after the tasting.
