Forest Therapy - Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne. This was not what I thought but everything that I loved. I thought it would be languishing amongst the trees but this was so much more immersive and thoroughly enjoyable. I was hoping to achieve some calm and peace but it was at such a deeper level than anticipated. Just absolutely lovely.

A fantastic experience! We visited the MCG and toured the ground with our excellent guide Graeme. Graeme was helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic about the MCG and found we learnt a lot about the grounds history. The ticket was reasonably priced with entry to the sports museum included which was great for young children. We fully enjoyed our time at the MCG

Experience Melbourne's charm effortlessly aboard the City Circle Tram. Providing visibility, safety, and accessibility for all, this tram effortlessly navigates through the city's core, granting access to iconic landmarks and attractions. With its well-kept interiors, spacious seating, and complimentary service, it's the perfect way to explore Melbourne's treasures at no cost.

Surprising! It’s been 30 years since I visited and the visitor’s centre is fantastic as I never was able to go inside the memorial before ! Make sure you go to the visitor’s centre lots of interesting artefacts and the draw card is the view from the balcony !

This place has definitely improved since covid - I didn’t enjoy it much on our last trip, but a few years later and I felt it has become what it once was. I notice there is some further refurbishment/construction occurring so looking forward to another visit one day soon.

My daughter certainly enjoyed all the Taylor swift knock off shirts and tops :P

We were given a "Cocktail in the clouds" package which also included the voyager theatre experience.
Sitting in our plush red "egg shell" pod chairs we settled in for out 15 minute journey through 16 iconic Melbourne locations.
Awesome experience and we were advised to do this event first before enjoying our cocktails which was taken onboard & thank goodness.
We enjoyed our cocktails at Bar 88 whilst admiring the scenery of Melbourne city and beyond.
The time you spend at the highest observation deck in the southern hemisphere is initially dependent on your own itinerary. The weather gods were on our side so we were in no hurry to leave. ( also it was not crowded)
We enjoyed the 360 degree views of our city and would recommend this experience.

Regularly visit and always find something new to find. Love the glass roof as knew the artist and family owned some of his paintings.

Visited with my wife as part of a walking back street tour. Beautiful arcade with many gift shops and specialist stores, as well as some wonderful eateries. The décor is fantastic.

Top experience for different ages . We are in our mid 50s and enjoyed the special Titantic Exhibition. While there we took advantage of viewing the rest of the museum, which was included in the special exhibits . Enjoyed the diversity of exhibits !

Melbourne Zoo is one of the nicest we’ve ever visited. It’s clean and well thought out. The animals appeared to be very well cared for and their habitats designed so they can be out if/when they choose. Unfortunately, the platypus wasn’t up for visitors the day we visited so we left Australia without ever getting to see one. 😭

A short walk from the State Library, you will find the Old Melbourne Gaol. Another historical site worth a visit, highlighting a time where committing a crime had you spending time in the gaol almost regardless of your age, gender or severity of the crime.
Hard to imagine living in the conditions as you walk through the small cells, read the stories of the people who were prisoners at the gaol or where hanged and the conditions the inmates were subjected to.
A harsh period in Melbourne history during the gold period, you have the option of walking through by yourself, downloading an audio tour or for the adventurous, doing the Melbourne Gaol night tour.
Take your time, talk to the wonderful guides who are stationed along the way, walk outside and find further historical areas of significance.
Well worth taking the time to visit and take in some of Melbourne's not so nice history.
