To get a sense of the size of the productions, we began with the loading docks, which feature doors and elevators. We got a sense of what goes into putting on a show by touring parts of the dressing rooms, orchestra pit, and props rooms. We learnt about sound and lighting while climbing through catwalks. We saw the Joan Sutherland Theater, the Concert Hall, the Ballet Theater, and the Drama Theater up close and spent some time in an orchestra pit.

Sydney Harbour is absolutely stunning—there’s no other way to put it. The views are jaw-dropping, whether you’re looking at the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, or just soaking in the endless blue water. I love it! 😍

Manly Beach is wonderful with lots to see and do. The beach itself is clean and well attended. There are life guards and surf guards on duty! While we were there, there was a confirmed shark sighting and they had to evacuate everyone from the water. It was done in an orderly manner and honestly an impressive operation.

    Definitely worth it!

Try to take the Aboriginal Bush Tucker tour at 11 am on Thursdays thru Sundays. Tyra did a great job of highlighting certain plants and fruits and gave us tastes and opportunities to smell and interact with each of the plants. Really cool to learn a snippet of the 30,000 year old oral tradition associated with several of the plants in the Gardens.

We had a few hours before our Room was ready to Check in at the Meriton Suites Mascot Central , so we decided to go to Manly on the Ferry from Circular Quay.
We had our Gold Opal Cards with us which are so easy to use and the cost is a Maximum of $2-50 per Day regardless of how far you go or how often . The Manly Ferry runs at 30 minute intervals in both directions . We found the Ferry's to be very Clean , efficient and comfortable and the trip takes around 25 minutes .
The journey takes you from Circular Quay to Manly with fantastic views of the Sydney Harbour .

Beautiful beach not far from the city center. You can take a bus and you will reach Bondi beach i haft an hour. There, you find nice restaurants, shops and coffee shops. A nice little excursion on a hot day.

We stopped off at The Rocks area from the hop on hop off bus tour. The market was in full swing; fabulous array of items both food and non food. A real treat to wander the streets of old and admire the architecture and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. We took time for a wee refreshment in one of the oldest pubs in the city; enjoying the alfresco atmosphere and watching the vast array of visitors and locals of the area. Highly recommend.

Just a great stroll. Plenty of places to eat, drink, rest or just simply enjoy the waterfront. Easily accessible by ferry from Circular quay too.

Very nice art museum! Was surprised how large it is. Well laid out and most of the staff were very friendly. The gift shop has a great selection. Well worth a visit.

Views of the city, water, and landmarks are great, but it is a little pricey for the time you actually need to spend on the observation deck.

30 min is enough time for most people.

This is not just a ferry terminal or train station. This is one of the best location to see the harbour bridge. There were also some shops and restaurants here.

While strolling through Darling Harbor one morning, I happened on this Garden. Tickets were available onsite, so I decided to explore. A map was helpful with suggestions, and excellent signage throughout the Garden provided commentary and context. The pathway passed by koi ponds, waterfalls, pavilions, and many opportunities to sit in meditative spaces. This is a delightful Garden in the middle of a busy city.

The museum has a wide range of exhibition such as, ships, uniforms, and submarine. You can learn and enjoy from history to navigation. It takes a long time to walk around the whole exhibition. I recommend that you should keep your luggage to the locker. There is some lockers at the entrance between the vessel and the submarine. The number of the visitor to the submarine is limited. Everyone waits in a line, I recommend that you should visiti the submarine earlier, in case the museum close early. I waited for about half an hour.
