- Logan K1 contributionWe hired Dreamtime Girl Charter operated by Boat Hire Sydney for our EOY staff party on 14 Dec 2023.
Our captain Andries Page swore at out staff and threatened to drop us off at the nearest dock.
For the last 4 years we have hired a boat for our EOY staff party and never have we encountered such disgusting behaviour from a captain.
To top it off Boat Hire Sydney are ghosting us and refusing to reply or address our complaint.Written 21 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We started with Henry taking us on a catamaran sail around the bay where he taught our kids to sail. We then had an afternoon paddle board. It was the perfect way to spend a family day. The guys were so accommodating and helpful. We will certainly be back. ⛵️🏖️Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravellingOzzyBondi, Australia13 contributionsWe took our Irish in laws out on the harbour for an amazing afternoon. 4 hours of cruising the harbour, some time for a swim and a paddle board (all provided) and then our skipper (Tim) cooked us lunch while we swam.
Seriously no better way to see the harbour. Thanks Tim, we will be back!

They have two locations that they operate from - Gibsons Beach at Watsons Bay and Rose Bay. Safety is a massive priority for the company and due to a crazy month of weather in Sydney our session was postponed twice due to high winds. The communication from Larry was fabulous - letting us know in advance and helping to reschedule a new date. When we arrived for our lesson, Larry and his offsider were friendly and welcoming. We were soon set up on the beach and had the basic techniques and safety information explained to us. A quick practice of techniques on the sand and it was into the water. It was a small group - just another two participants which meant that we had plenty of feedback from our instructor. Watsons Bay is a beautiful scenic spot and perfect for the local or visitor to Sydney to experience standup paddle boarding. The harbour was smooth and hardly any wind. We paddled over to a nearby beach over crystal clear water. Expect as a beginner to have accidents - wear your swimmers and in cooler weather bring a wetsuit if you have one. You need to be able to swim but the boards have leg ropes as well (so they don't escape if you do come off). Arrive about 15 minutes before your session so you have time to get set up to start on time. The website has clear information on how to find the starting point - just turn left and keep walking along the water once you reach Watson Bay Baths. After you can grab a coffee at the Vaucluse Tea House or Fish and Chips at Doyles. On a sunny day parking can be tricky so allow extra time. We had a fantastic experience with this company for our first time with Stand Up Paddle Boarding - an excellent customer experience - HIGHLY RECOMMEDED.Written 17 May 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
