reminiscent of my time spent here years ago when I spent many hours in this place. It is a great library and had a wonderful collection but it is also a great space for study or a haven from the busy streets outside if you wish to use the study/quiet spaces, free Wi-Fi, computers or just visit the shop or sit in the cafe. Any NSW residents can sign up for a Library card. We were not particularly looking for any information, but rather went in just to have a look. There is lots of information around and the staff seemed quite friendly as we observed from a distance. The cafe is a good touch, and the staff a so friendly and welcoming. The librarian on duty was happy to reissue my library card since I had lost my last one. And the downstairs area is so well payed out with books lining the walls and dividing the study spaces. A great event and few premises could handle such a night with the feeling of being close up and yet ave so many people. The staff did a seamless job of organising it all. My first visit to an exhibition at The Cutaway and what an awesome venue, perfect for the Frida Kahlo exhibition. Walking from Barangaroo along the water's edge on a sunny day was an experience in itself. Staff were very helpful and the cute cafe serving some Mexican food & tequila was a winner! A very well curated extensive exhibition which included creating Frida's famous flower crown which people of all ages engaged in. There was also a digital photo shoot. Frida's life is examined in the different rooms in a creative way.

Staff is very friendly. Academic books vary covering different disciplines.
