I visit these markets regularly to shop. On the plus side thre are some great stalls selling artisan cheeses, the Scottish butcher (this is the only place I can buy haggis and black pudding!), the chop shop, which sells amazing free range pork. The is more good than bad, but I confess recently I've been disappointed that the organic veggie stalls seem to have disappeared. Perhaps it's temporary, but since that is my main reason for shopping at farmers markets I am less enthusiastic to go to this market. I end up spending more money than I'd planned on lots of delicious but perhaps not entirely necessary things! Hey ho, that's what markets often are .. If you want a pleasant shop, it's worth a visit. If you are doing your weekly shop, maybe Carriage works or my favorite, the Frenchs Forest market on a Sunday is a better bet.
