We walked from the cruise terminal along the waterfront to and through the “Rocks Area”, and stumbled on this weekend market. This proved to be a mix of portable tents, and a series of semi permanent tents, with some birck & mortar shops. A nice variety of shops from jewelry to crafts to food - it is worth a visit.

A great local farmers market with the best fresh fruit, baked goods, meats and cheeses. Most are from farmers and there is a genuinely great vibe! You can also grab coffee, fresh juice and many other breakfast and lunch meals from the vendors. Highly recommend!

Located in Fitzroy gardens, is the loveliest little market of saturday's, there are many things to be tempted with, however our fave is listening to the jazz buskers, a highlight.

I visit these markets regularly to shop. On the plus side thre are some great stalls selling artisan cheeses, the Scottish butcher (this is the only place I can buy haggis and black pudding!), the chop shop, which sells amazing free range pork. The is more good than bad, but I confess recently I've been disappointed that the organic veggie stalls seem to have disappeared. Perhaps it's temporary, but since that is my main reason for shopping at farmers markets I am less enthusiastic to go to this market. I end up spending more money than I'd planned on lots of delicious but perhaps not entirely necessary things! Hey ho, that's what markets often are .. If you want a pleasant shop, it's worth a visit. If you are doing your weekly shop, maybe Carriage works or my favorite, the Frenchs Forest market on a Sunday is a better bet.

These markets are on every two weeks, and a great opportunity to go for a stroll on a Sunday morning. I think there is only one stall that sells fresh fruit and vegetables. Quite a few that sell ready to go food. A few artisan food places as well. It’s a nice little local market, but limited in options. I’d love to see more unique vendors there.

This is a real hidden gem. Beautiful shop with a huge range of products. Everything looked so nice, it was hard not to buy half the shop. The staff were lovely too.
