What a break we had, visited a couple of local club ski fields, a day heli skiing and a day jet boating up the river, all the time being served up gorgeous meals and lovely wines, we couldn’t have asked for more.
The Heli Skiing was the highlight, started the day very nervous thinking what are we doing, this soon turned to being terrified as the helicopter dropped us off at the top of the mountain, but soon turned to elation and being ecstatic on what we had achieved, what a day!
But the best thing of our trip was how well we were treated by our hosts, Simon and our amazing chef, Hilly, we felt like we were visiting old friends.
    Thanks for an amazing time!

A challenging course with very windy conditions which add to the difficulty. The sixteenth hole is awesome and the scenery breathtaking.

We enjoyed a truly delightful visit to Benlea Farm. It was the most memorable tour I've done in a long time. I've always dreamed of seeing a working dog in action and we were able to watch their dog Fly single-handedly move 900 sheep to a new paddock. Then we bottle fed an orphan lamb, took a tour of the shearing shed, and saw some very handsome bulls grazing in a field of mixed greens. The setting is unbelievably beautiful with the Southern Alps in the background. It was bliss. I wondered aloud if the sheep appreciated the views. Probably not, but we certainly did. We swooned. Some of our best memories of our trip to New Zealand are from this day and we will never forget it. Thank you Cathie!

Great place to visit - large group and everything flowed. The service was good. Food was great.
The fire place was the best - while some of the group were entertained with clay shooting, archery & golf.
