The lake is incredibly vast, with the southern part being less crowded—most Hungarians prefer the northern side. The water was perfect for a swim, and we felt completely safe and relaxed. The surrounding villages offer numerous restaurants with a great vibe. Very nice area, clean water, polite staff. Toilets and the bathrooms are clean too.

Lots of different animals like alpacas, horses, deers, birds, camels and so on. It is not so big but smaller kids will love it. It is around 10-15 min drive outside of Siofok. You will either need a car to get there or use their transport service.

Golden beach has everything the pay beach offers but for free! Clean toilets, beer and snacks at the beachside and plenty of pedalo and canoe rental options! Grass may not be quite as well maintained but it's still a great location. The first time I was there was full of life and music and everything was so vivid and playful. And last week it was the opposite; it was quiet, but still beautiful. There were less people, so I liked it so much better the second time. The church is beautiful, I've never seen something this amazing and beautiful (I visited the church in Budapest as well). I was there for work, so I didn't have a guide, but the people I worked with, they told me every little secret I was curious about. Everyone was so kind and helpful. They were always smiling at me and I felt pretty welcomed.
