A breathtakingly beautiful villa set in a carefully manicured park with exciting historical objects spanning centuries. Features include half a frigate, a submarine, an amphitheatre built in the Roman style for open air performances, a cascade running down a ravine ending in a series of hammer ponds that can be reached via purposely built steps. This is an outdoor adventure in a natural setting with magnificent views of Garda Lake..

A very interesting roman villa, one of the best ruins I have seen. Very detailed in the museum. Some spectacular views and worth the entrance fee.

This is an interesting castle to view from the outside and makes for good photo opportunities. We did not go inside.

Amazing first trip to the Italian lakes. Iseo was quietly stunning. Lots of Italian families holidaying there. We only had a couple of nights there - will be back for sure. The lido next to the lake was a lucky find.
Flour - fresh pasta restaurant in town is well worth a visit.

I’ve driven Pikes Peak and Mt. Washington, and those two roads don’t hold a candle to this one. The most tense part is the drive BEFORE you actually get to the Strada; very tight turns and narrow lanes. Once you get on the SDF, the road is one way and beautiful! There are a few places to stop, and the drive down takes you through some gorgeous scenery.

walked the grounds but had too little time for the museum.

Great way to learn the history of Brescia from the inside. Fun, interesting, dynamic and very reasonable price. Great to have Andrea as a guide. Thanks again for the experience!

This is a wondeful walk up to Brescia Castle and the best thing is that it is all free to visit. The castle and its surrounding areas are very serene and peaceful and once up there, you can easily find a nice quiet corner to relax. When we were up there, only a handful of people had made the journey and it was wonderful.

Just located in the Piazza di Paolo VI, it is definitely a sight that you should not be missing. Just amazing and there are not many nice words for it.

Wonderfull museum with lemon-orchards. A short climb up from the main street and harbour, but worth the trip. Only 2€ for a tiny place of peace and education

An expert guide accompanied us through the fortress's tunnels and while we went up the steps we breathed eight centuries of Italian history : Venice Republic, Napoleon's empire, Giuseppe Garibaldi's achievements. We got a deep understanding of soldiers life's condition. It was tiring, but really worth it. Unforgettable experience not only a day trip.

It was well worth the visit. The museum was very quiet but the staff were friendly and the exhibits were extraordinary. I particularly liked the large diorama. It is a must see site for anyone with an interest in modern Italian History.
