Such a relaxing and authentic place, so close to the beach, restaurants and shops. All of the hotels selected for us were fantastic – especially Spice Tree Munnar. The scenery on the way there and all around Munnar is breathtaking. Spice Tree first impressions WOW! Our room with a massive balcony was perfect looking out over the valley and to the hills in the distance.We got there just in time for the cookery class, where the in-house chef demonstrated how to cook some traditional Keralan vegetarian and fish dishes – a real bonus that we got to eat the dishes afterwards - delicious. Worth doing–amazingly, there was no additional charge for this!
The hotel also provides complimentary guided walking tours in the evening to see the sunset and early morning down through the valley. We did both and highly recommended. The restaurant and staff were great –the food is delicious, and wine and beer is available. Perfect KOKOindia location – loved it!

Deva had already thought about all of the small things for Kayaking - strings for glasses, dry bags for phones, etc. Sent us some wonderful photos of our experience too! - Melissa GNorthampton, UK11 contributionsI stumbled across Deva's kyak hire when visiting Parolem beach and they were amazing ❤️ a dry bag for my stuff, some string for my glasses in case they come off, all included and so helpful and thoughtful ❤️ haven't seen others offer the same x I was late back by 15 mins, no extra charge and they took pictures and a video on my return x such a great touch fire a solo traveller x
