    A Must Do!!!
    First time in a helicopter. Fears subsided as soon as we took off. The Bose noise cancelling headphones worked very well! Magnificent views only available by copter. Even saw whales. Our pilot Shane was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. And his music playlist was spot on!

    December 25 trip
    The trip was on Dec 25 when a few of the things that were part of the tour were closed. The touring company never gave any inkling and also didn’t provide any refunds. The driver made us wait inside the van without any AC on in the Safeway parking lot for sandwiches for 59 mins. The worst part were the sandwiches since they were in the coolers completely were soggy and inedible. I will recommend travelers not to se the company again. They are not cheap but the service was pretty poor.

    Waterfalls on the east side of the island puts you in touch with nature at its finest
    The waterfalls were amazing. I loved swimming in the cold pool.
    I didn’t get too close to the waterfall, but being close was so amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

    Great family day on the water!
    Morning tour with Miles Madison, tour guide extraordinaire! He is skilled, safe, knowledgeable about the ocean/kayaking/ history of the area and managed my 86 year old mother with kid gloves. She always requests a day on the water with Miles when she comes to visit and he never disappoints! He is incredibly kind and treats her with great respect, while peppering her with humor and stories of his humble Alabama upbringing ( with the necessary Southern drawl). This is a “ must-do” annual event! We appreciate everything about him and his tour.

    Private Island Tour on the Big Island including Kona
    First of all, our tour guide Rebecca was great. She blended like family. She was very detailed and informative about the sites, island, the people, and island beliefs. We were allowed to enjoy our stops never feeling rushed. Our group age ranged from 25 to 73. We all participated in everything. I have friends and family going in January and they will be taking the tour. I would do it again.

    The driver waited for us despite the flight landing 30 min late. Comfortable Van. Great way to start our holiday.

    Pricey Scam for Gullible Tourists
    What a trash service. Completely unreliable, terrible customer service. When we tried to schedule our pickup back to the airport, they gave us ONE option 3 HOURS ahead of the flight and said that’s their “terms and conditions” which are not written or communicated anywhere and they decide your timeline. The last thing you want to deal with on vacation. They’re also double the price of just getting an uber. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this scam.

    I booked 3 tours with KapohoKine . I was staying in Kona and was picked up for each of the tours. I was really impressed with the excellent professionalism, friendliness and depth of knowledge of all the tour guides, making my trip to the Big Island a truly memorable one.

    Great way to see The Big Island
    We chose this tour randomly and we are so glad we did. Our guide Marcus was amazing- very knowledgeable on the entire island. The tour was close to 11 hours long but it seemed much shorter then that as it was so well presented by Marcus. We saw amazing scenery with very diverse landscapes. Food supplied was excellent and no shortage on cold water. Would highly recommended this tour to anyone. Thanks Marcus - we really enjoyed our day with you

    Great!
    Such a great experience. We were going to get a taxi to go to the airport to get a rental and then met Derrick and it was ideal for our family. We loved his flexibility with our family enjoying the beach and the ocean. Loved his insight and knowledge of the island as we drove through the beautiful area to Hapuna beach. Would definitely recommend this company especially for a day outing!

    1st time at island of Kona of the Hawaiian islands
    our tour guide was don, a very hippie type guide , great attitude who scheduled a tour of kona that included the falls, green sand beach aboard pickup trucks that drove through the dunes, best ride ever also thought us about mineral olivene , the market, black sand beach, sightseeing through towns and provided the best tour even dropping us off to get on the last tender for the ship, a little scary, but true to his word he got us back in time

    For starters, they could keep better records of the bookings made, they should not cancel at the last minute and their personnel could stop being rude. They had our pick up information wrong in Honolulu and were unpleasant about it. In Kona, they twice cancelled bookings shortly before the scheduled times for airport pickup saying they didn't have drivers/equipment. They don't answer their phone promptly--waits of more than 30 minutes before being able to talk to anyone. Hotel personnel and other drivers told us this firm has a very bad reputation for reliability.
