- NickyinperthPerth, Australia74 contributionsGreat place to take the kids! The baby animals they have are adorable! You get to bottle feed them, go on the merry-go-round, tractor rides, bouncy castle. The activities are endless even on a rainy day!Written 16 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- julie jPerth, Australia422 contributionsQuirky Gin Tastings at Old Youngs - you can pre-book your tasting or roll up and try your luck. I do recommend booking tho - Tastings are $10 per person and I think well generally waved if you purchase. Tastings - well I couldn't find one I didn't like - even the vodka was great and to be fair - I don't like vodka. Great building - has a restaurant next door - parking not bad either side of the venue. Icecream shop at the back - so really its a meal and desert.Written 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ivesk2018Perth, Australia109 contributionsCost is $40 for a family pass. There was lots of different reptiles to see. Felt that the staff were more concerned with talking to each other than the paying patrons. Regardless, it was interesting. The kids refused to hold the reptiles which would have been cool. So if you after that experience then great. Otherwise go to the Perth Zoo.Written 26 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia8,540 contributionsWe spotted an advert for this gallery on the Swan Valley Visitor Centre map and decided to visit, chiefly because it is Aboriginal owned and operated and likely to showcase only authentic Aboriginal Art . We were greeted by the passionate Dale Tilbrook who walked us through and gave pertinent explanations on the various art forms. My wife had been seeking to purchase a carved emu egg for some time and, lo and behold, there sat an authentic carved emu egg on display; a quick sale. We then purchased a nice painting by artist, C. Winmar. I purchased a magnet as memento of our visit. There was a wonderful selection of paintings and wood carved items to accommodate all budgets.Written 26 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sam DPerth, Australia1 contributionMy 17 year old son has been to most paintball venues in Perth but swears he has never enjoyed a afternoon paintballing quite like Skirmish. The two staff members, Dan and T, were really professional and friendly and made all the players feel welcome and secure. They made sure everyone knew how to stay safe but have maximum fun! My son said the settings were “intense and so different to other paintball places”. So much so he’s asked if he can go back every weekend since - as it was also much cheaper than the main paintball chains! Oh fyi there’s a winery next to Paintball Skirmish so I was able to relax with a coffee in the garden while my son had a great afternoon.Written 25 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wendy WPerth, Australia5 contributionsThe Service and staff is wonderful. The manager is so friendly. The thing we were disappointed with was the steak sandwich. It said it had mushrooms, capsicum and red onion but we didn’t see any. It was also very salty. We all only ate half . They had music in the beer garden which was lovely but just too loud when you’re talking at the table. Then the DJ and she was even louder. Still would go back but try different food and hopefully music won’t be so loud. On a positive note it’s very good for kids and so good when they eat for free.Written 30 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
