This is a great museum/cafe and a real hidden gem in Blankenberge. There is no entrance fee but you have to purchase either a drink or some food. You can look around the house/museum at your own pace and the owner even gives you an ipad with the history of the house. The owner spoke good English. There are toilets as well. The house is full of interesting items to look at and children or adults can even try and find all the mice that are hidden throughout the house!
There is a good selection of drinks and snacks and there are tables and chairs inside or in a lovely garden area at the rear. There is a great selection of coffees and beers to choose from. We would highly recommend a visit.

Very nice view. Did not eat but, bailey coffee was really good. Excellent choice for some relaxing moments and for contemplating the north sea.

I first thought this seemed a bit expensive at 99 euro each for dinner and cabaret. It is money very well spent
We first had to go to the dinner at 6pm. Appetizers and prosecco to begin. Then 3 wonderful courses with wine. All while being entertained by duo. 2 other singers came in for a few songs whilst a magician went round the tables ( not ours).
Then after 8 we went through to the main room. I don't understand the language but there were 6 speciality acts, a hilarious clown type man, several singers and dancers and they were all great. They performed from 8.30 til midnight with a break ( 50 cent to pee) . I was never bored and laughed so much.
I knew most of the music but even the local songs were catchy and the audience were very enthusiastic.
As one of the few uk people holidaying in blankenberg this was the highlight and the thing that would make me return.

Very near the major tourist town of Blankenberge, but quite a world apart...peace and quiet here, set in a beautiful green natural setting

It was cold, windy, and cloudy, not the right day to go to the beach. We saw the dunes and the sand, and the sea, not many people about. The town is right there.

Adjacent to Blankenberge Harbour is De Paravang, a quirky structure from a bygone era. The structure was constructed in 1908, its name originates from the French word paravent translating to windscreen. It harks back to a different era and  contrasts dramatically with the surrounding coastal apartment blocks. It is definately worth visiting whilst in Blankenberge.

My 10 year old daughter loved this , she tried 5 different bikes in the 10 minutes allocated , she loved the different styles , and had lots of fun , all at the bargain price of €2.50.

First time for my partner to go midgetgolfing and as we we're both very competitive, this was an awesome activity

+ We went around 9PM. Because of this, we had the whole place to ourselves
+ Because we had the place to ourselves, the music made it a little creepy.
+ Fun activity, not too many holes so it stayed fun.
+ The costs of €6,00 per person is a good price

    - Even though, we we're on our own, the place was really hot.

    Tips:
    - If you're younger, music might be a little creepy. Or I'm just a scaredy cat.

Blankenberge was liberated from German occupation on 09th September 1944 by the XIIth Manitoba Dragoons Canadian regiment. At Manitobaplein there is a fitting memorial which commemorates the Liberation of 1944. It is a hugely significant memorial however it is quite modest in size but it is worth visiting whilst in Blankenberge.
