- sudhir naikPune, India32 contributionswe visited unchilli falls in late january 2023.We had stayed at ibbani jungle resort in sirsi, which is a great place to stay.Unchilli falls are some 80/90 minutes drive from sirsi. The negative part is the road signs are in local language and it's tough for people from outside Karnataka to navigate. The falls are a treat and there are three obswervations points from where you get different splendid view. The last point is from where you find the falls in their grandeur. There are atleast 250/300 steps to climb down and climb up which can be arduous for many. There are no refreshment cafe/tapris so one must carry own water as well as snacks/snack bars as it is tiring .But overall it's worth all the troubles. For travellers Yana caves is also another beautiful place to visit but same issues.Karnataka government tourism deptt must resolve the basic problems of sign boards on the routes.Written 13 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Soma CBengaluru, India17 contributionsWe stayed at Drongo nature camp for 2 nights with my 9 year old son. The experience was great at a very reasonable price. Our rooms including bathroom were very spacious and beautifully designed. There was always a lot of wildlife everywhere, be it birds, insects, or spiders. The food was healthy and tasty with so many varieties; most of the ingredients were grown locally. Suhas always had time for the guests esp the children. We enjoyed night walk with Suhas, morning walk at the village nearby, exploring different web patterns. It is truly a hidden gem in Sirsi.Written 1 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel_is_fun_BloreBengaluru, India262 contributionsThe place is located about 37 Ksm from Siris. Road till last 3-4 Kms is good. Trekking path is bit steep and is turns out to be bit difficult in some stretch. During summer fallen dry leaves are covered all over the path and one should be careful while trekking as these leaves are slippery too. It required around 2 to 2 30 hours to get down and around 2 hours to climb back.
Overall its a nice falls, but as we had been here in summer, there was not much water in the falls.Written 1 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
