- Krishnan SBengaluru, India249 contributionsVagamon as a town [or a one street village] is nothing to be excited about. What lies outside of this is what is best for travellers. The whole area spread across multiple sq. kms. is simply amazing. I would call it Munnar without the crowd, traffic and the tea estates are simply devine.
There is quite a bit to do depending on what ones motivation is. It would take a bit to get around so having a vehicle is always a plus. Most things can be covered [if you want to do the listed touristy stuff] in a couple of days. However this place for me was to absolutely chill.
Getting decent food for vegetarians is a challenge. We had most meals in the place we stayed in and it was manageable. However the day(s) we headed out it was quite a challege, we had carried snacks so it helped.Written 15 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
