THIS CHURCH is located next to the AVT Tea Outlet - Carady Goody Estate that's few kilometres away from Kuttikkanam, which is part of Peerumade while it's about 36 kilometres from Vagamon. The whole area spread across multiple sq. kms. is simply amazing. I would call it Munnar without the crowd, traffic and the tea estates are simply devine.
There is quite a bit to do depending on what ones motivation is. It would take a bit to get around so having a vehicle is always a plus. Most things can be covered [if you want to do the listed touristy stuff] in a couple of days. However this place for me was to absolutely chill.
Getting decent food for vegetarians is a challenge. We had most meals in the place we stayed in and it was manageable. - Daniel James8 contributionsAdventure Park is actually a man-made attraction where we have lots of adventure sports. There is a lake as well which is also man-made, but it's as beautiful as a natural lake.
There are many interesting adventure sports in the park and also has boating activities like pedal boating and kayaking. I loved kayaking a lot. The adventures might not be too adventurous to some people, may they can be classified as a bit easy adventures.
It's overall a 3-4 hours activity. Everything is kind of nearby, we just have to walk 3-5 minutes between the activities.
It can be visited any time in a day I guess. We went during normal climate, so didn't had any issue even at mid noon. The temperature of the area was almost same as that of Kerala maybe a degree or two lesser.
I think it's fine to visit this place in any season but try not to come during rainy season, as the activities might not be possible.
There was no food availability inside the park, but there was drinking water available.
