What travellers are saying
- MRB3 contributionsWhat a cute hidden gem - minutes away from Nice. This cute little hotel is right across from the beach/sea and from the room I was staying in, you could see wonderful views.
The rooms are small, but everything you need is there. A small fridge, television, etc. I also had a little balcony where I could sit and work, eat, and have a glass of wine while taking in the views and people of Nice. The rooms were extremely clean and the bed was comfortable.
The people who run the hotel could not have been more kind, friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. If I come back to Nice, there is nowhere I will stay - highly recommend - especially if you are on a budget. I loved my stay here.Written 26 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nice sand for walking. Nice views if you take the time to follow the path that leads away from the beach in each direction.Written 25 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Also Davide in the kids club was fantastic, he made a real effort to get our son to join in, which was tricky because he was the only child who didn't know italian.

- KevStubbington, UK3 contributionsOnly two of the boxes had anything in them, both of them being art galleries and both of them being closed. The rest were empty units, so not worth bothering with.Written 7 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chocdikrabFrankfurt, Germany3,472 contributionswe came to cala banana and nodu pianu in the late mornung time of our last day in sardinia for this year. because our airplane left late in the evening we had still enough time to spend one last day on the beach. we choosed cala banana and nodu pianu, because we could visite two beaches at the same place...that was nice.
it was also nice, that the distance to the airport only was 7 kilometers and so we could stay till the early evening. the beach is easy reachable by car, a big parking place is located directly behind the beach...we didn´t pay any fee.
after a short walk we arrived cala banana, which is located in the northpart of the bay. a small marina with tiny boats is located in the stoney middlepart of the bay...then nodu pianu begins. both beaches are maybe 180 meters long and slope gently to the sea, so these places are perfect for families with small children.
the water is crystalclear and the ground partly stoney...specially near the small marina...there the water gets faster deep also.
the reflections of the clean water reach from green to blue in every presentable shade and it made a lot of fun to slash and swim.
a beachbar is located where it is also possible to take a shower and rent parasols and longchairs. about the prices we can´t give any information.
we can recomment the both beaches very much. we had a great day there. the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. a nice place to let dangle the soul.Written 21 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Also, it provides a different view to the bay.Written 30 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
