The tropical fruits and vegetables are very fresh, surprisingly the imported fruits are available too. Prices are definitely cheaper here than in the supermarkets targeting expats and rich people. I went to this famous market with a friend from South Sudan which made my visit interesting. - Matvl5,666 contributionsJebel Kujur is the small jebel overlooking Juba. Hiking to the top is amazing with brilliant views. It can can be busy on weekends and the paths up are informal and quite steep at parts. You’ll certainly want to go with somebody who knows the route and can guide you safely. - Matvl5,666 contributionsThe Massai Market in Juba is the place to go for tourist souvenirs - mostly the usual sort of stuff you’d expect in markets in the region and many of the products are from Uganda and Kenya. Quite a number of stall holders and an array of goods. Traders are engaging and do try and get you to look at their products, but not overly pushy.
