Big spacious soft play with plenty for the kids to do. However, I’ve not been in an establishment where all but 1 staff member is ‘medically exempt’, wonder if this came to light before or during the current pandemic. Other than that, a nice place to visit, bit overpriced, but so is everything nowadays

This war memorial is dedicated to the men and women of Cambuslang and surrounding district who died fighting in the two world wars. The main feature of the monument is a plinth surmounted by a bronze sculpture. Unusually, the sculpture, does not explicitly depict a soldier, only a kilted male figure. The man is wearing a shirt with sleeves rolled up. In his right hand, he holds a rile with the butt resting on the ground, while looking to his right. Separate from the plinth is a memorial wall with a roll of honour,, one each for the two world wars. The monument sits just inside Cambuslang Park on the Mansfield Avenue entrance and the setting is beautiful, especially now that summer is in full swing (Scottish style).

Okay, this is ONLY the food I’m reviewing as we got a home delivery. It was highly recommended locally, I can only imagine these folk ate in… and alcohol influenced their recommendation.

I should stress I have never set foot in the pub, but live half a mile away so the delivery was within minutes of being prepared.

Anyway, the burgers were horrific, the veg in them was fried giving it a stringy texture… which was not nice in a burger, there was no sauce in the burger either. The chips were huge, they were fine.

Just goes to show, don’t always go by folks overly enthusiastic recommendations as they may be biased.

I would expect food like this from a match day snack wagon, but not from a pub.
