The grand house - rebuilt after the fire in 1974 when it was owned by Ralph Slazenger of tennis ball fame is very impressive but by European standards not old
    The gardens are really terrific
    Formal in design but beautiful
Said to be the third best gardens in the Workd after Versailles and Kew - interesting
    We really enjoyed our visit

This distillery is a must visit if you have any time to venture in this direction while in Ireland! On top of being right next to the beautiful Gardens, the distillery has a rich history and wonderful menu! The staff are very knowledgeable about the products they serve, and the whiskey is as good as you’ll taste. The tastings come with wonderful presentation from the introductions to the drinks by the staff to the board and glasses that they use for the whiskey. 10/10, can’t recommend enough!

Very narrow drive thru the Wicklow mountains. Beautiful visas of the mountains with areas to stop and enjoy the beauty. Nice change of pace to get out of Dublin. We did it on an organized tour including Powerscourt and Glenaloch.

After doing a google search for things to do in the area we found the cool planet experience. Wasn’t really sure what to expect but the experience was brilliant! Our group had 2 adults and 2 children, aged 9 and 15 and both really enjoyed it. The interactive tasks where enjoyed by all, even the teenager! A brilliant way to learn about our impact on the environment, would love to see the experience rolled out to other countries, keeps kids interested throughout the whole experience. Well done cool planet!

We stopped in here while visiting Powers court house. It's staffed by wonderful volunteers and is quite inexpensive. It's a small area with two main rooms full of miniatures and displays. They make good use of the limited space, and since all the displays are so tiny there is actually quite a lot to see. I'd recommend taking the time to really look at the intricate detail of all the pieces. The furniture and displays really are incredible reproductions with working parts.

We played the West Course on a nice Sunday in November. Friendly at the Pro’s shop, great facilities and a super course in excellent condition for the Irish winter.

There is a cafe next door where we had lunch and it was very good. After lunch we walked to the church which was mot as old as I originally thought. But the history of the church and school was very interesting. The church was very cute with graves outside of clergy and townsmen

Really enjoyable walk in the woods. Cannot believe that it’s been over a year since we were last here. Great free thing to do and very peaceful.

Studio and gallery - work of three artists - a sculptor, and jeweller and a botanical artist - you can browse the work, talk to the artists and buy anything that takes your fancy

The Scalp is a super place to walk, jog, bike and hike. Rocky (can be risky) and goats all around. Its a super place for an afternoon. Great views from the higher points. Recommended.
