It was a full day of climbing, hiking and lots of laughs. Shannon Athletics Club had chance to do Hell & Back course in Alive Outside Activity Centre in Killruddery.
From very beginning we felt really looked after.
Both of managers Mick and Michael were really informative, accommodating and helpful.
On day of our arrival Oisin who was Weekend Manager on site was doing absolutely extraordinary job. We have arrived an hour earlier. He was waiting at gate for us. Clearly explain how our day would look like. He brought our team to venue and introduced to team of instructors.
Robin, Oisín N, Ben Ellen, and Bláithín were our instructors on day! This is amazing team!!! They all deserve credit for making our day such fantastic! Our group was divided to two smaller as we had mix of kids aged 8 to 17 and some adults. Younger kids went trough 3K course and older trough 6.5K course. Trough entire event all instructors were assisting with obstacles, encouraging our athletes, cheering up and motivating. Their interaction with kids and adults is out of this world. They really know ther job and are simply amazing!!!
It was really amazing experience and every single person including parents was asking when do we come back. We have tones of photos, great memories, learnt a lots gained new team building skills and many more good things happened after.

The guide we had was called eoin (John) couldn’t fault him. Very attentive and entertaining with awesome knowledge of Ireland and it’s history. Stopped at the Fitzgerald pub in the village for some scrummy food and an exceptional pint of Guinness. Recommended for anyone who wants to get out and see cultural Ireland whilst having a laugh too!
