Our tour with Iszy with RIA was the best 3 days of our time in Ireland! We so enjoyed the variety of activities, and Iszy's congenial and expert commentary on the sights. We visited the coast and did a spectacular hike on the Queen Maeve trail; she was so thoughtful and brought healthy, fresh snacks! We walked in the "fairy" forest near the River Moy, and visited the super interesting Lynch castle. Our first ever seaweed bath was so relaxing. The baking class with Marjory at Brigown B&B was fun and the food absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Rachel's Irish Adventures!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing afternoon kayaking with David. We took off from the quay which is a 2 min walk from the Ice House Hotel where we were staying.
David was great fun and made the experience really enjoyable.

I was able to tour County Mayo on an e-bike and it was so much fun! Seeing the beauty of Ireland on a bike is the best way to experience it! Ballina Bike Hire is the best place for renting both regular and e-bikes! I highly recommend them. Rachel and Iszy will take good care of you!

With help from Eóin, we planned a 5 day trip flying to and from Dublin with stays in Kilkenny, Killarney and Galway; and thanks to our driver, Peter Chambers, our 5 days were filled with more than we could have ever planned on our own. We were able to stop in Cobh and Kenmare (which were not planned). We also didn't think we'd be able to do both the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry but again, Peter figured out a way for us to see both! That's just one example of how Peter went above and beyond.

Some highlights that were not on our itinerary: driving onto Inch Beach (Co. Kerry), holding baby sheep, Muckross Abbey, driving through Killorglin and seeing King Puck. But I think the most amazing part of our trip was that on the last day of our tour, we had planned to drive to Castlebar from Galway to see where my husband's grandmother was born and where his great grandparents were buried. Peter, unbeknownst to us, made a few phone calls and located the current owner of my husband's grandmother's home AND was able to arrange a visit to the home. The current owner was an extremely gracious host, who gave us a tour, treated us to tea and biscuits and then gave us a tour of his horse farm and it's current residents. We will be forever grateful to Peter for giving us a piece of history that we couldn't have ever experienced without his intervention and help.

From restaurant recommendations to the stories we were told along the way (plus the fact that we didn't spend a second of our limited time trying to figure out where we were going or navigate the beautiful roads we traveled), we are so glad we chose Duffy Tours for our Ireland adventure. We can't wait until our next visit!!!
