Divinity! We stayed at Ganesh Sadan, Tungabhadra B Block - rooms were ok, AC etc was available. If you book this offline (when you reach there and book) you will get room for 24 hours, if you book online (like we did) you need to check out before 10am next day else security deposit (2000 per room) will be forfeited.

We booked Pratyekshya Seva - Abhishekam Garbhalayam with Abhishekhantar Darshan which is Rudraabhishek for couple (50 sec - 2 mins max) and Sparsh darshan for other members. They make 4 couples sit together and do super fast Pooja - can understand due to so many devotees they can not give much time to each - but you get to touch the jyotirljnga and touch your head with Linga too. It’s very well organised and must visit! No need to know some pujari or any other formality needed - just book rooms and darshan on their official website and you are done.

Food options are available only near Ganga Sadan which is 5 mins drive from Ganesh Sadan (where we stayed) else in Ganesh sadan you just have one eatery for tea and icecream only.

It was very sudden plan, just in two days after deciding we( Mine and My cousin's family) started from hyderabad around 1:30pm and reached sundipenta around 7:30( took 3 breaks with average of 40 min.s each for lunch, tea and bio) and we also took a safari at amrabad .ours was last trip and it was fantastic experience.By the time we are done with our safari it was dark. From there to sundipenta the drive was really excellent. It was very dark and very low trafic so some one who loves long drive will definetly enjoy this strectch in the dark.we stayed at sundipenta as we couldnot get confirmed accomdation at srisailam.Had our dinner at Srisaila's nest as there was no other decent place to have dinner with family.Dinner was good.Next day we went to temple by the time we had break fast and joins the que it was around 10.It was very hot ,we come out from athiseegra darsanam in one hour, and went to Tribal museum.Good place to visit and bought couple o Honey bottles and returened to our stay GM Deluxe hotel(But its a lodge) It was horrible to stay at that location, though the maintanance was impressive and staff also handy at all times but no proper parking and very conjusted place.(We had no choice so stayed there in suit room charged 4k/day very very expensive)And thats not at all a suit room, just two double cots and two bathrooms in a tiny room.we checked out and stopped at Haritha resort-Spice restuarent at eaglapenta for lunch .The taste was next level( we had Roti,Panner butter masala and bendi do pyaz,as the thali was not looking good and nonveg also included). We stratted return journey to akka mahadevi caves but the time was up so we continued our journey to hyderabad with precised memories.

We 3 friends were truly blessed to have darshan of goddess in a small cave lit by an oil lamp :The journey starts from NSTR counter where we have to report by 8am: we took tickets one day prior to our journey: our names are announced and we are assigned a jeep along with 5 more devotees: Total 8 persons per jeep:all have to return in the Same jeep: It’s a 25 minutes journey on a path of small rocks n uneven surface which we felt was tolerable: Definitely it is not a smooth ride , very bumpy, but worth going: All the jeeps go and come together:The jeeps stop around less than 1 km from the temple and hardly it’s a 5-7 minutes pleasant walk inside the forest: very peaceful and small temple managed by local tribals called Chenchus: we have to lower ourselves into a small opening gently and we can bend n sit in front of the most powerful goddess and apply kumkum on her forehead and pray for few minutes: Ista kameswari ammavarus darshan fills you with happiness n divinity:After having darshan ,we lit earthen lamps in the premises and also in a Shiva temple next to this temple; we distributed snacks to the tribal children there: walk back to jeeps n come back along the same route to the NSTR counter: NO need to feel frightened to go n visit the temple as it is very safe n well organised: EVEN for senior citizens it’s doable

Phaladhara panchadhara is one of the popular location in Srisailam, Which is besides main road of Srisailam. There is no Entry fee for this visit. It can be reached Via 160 steps in a narrow valley

The name of the stream is derived from Lord Shiva. The name Paladhara stands for the stream originating from the forehead of Lord Shiva, as pahal means forehead and dhara means stream. The name Panchadhara signifies the five aspects of Lord Shiva (Pancha means five and dharma means stream).

This place is available for visit from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm

Once you are in Srisailam, this park offers you a peaceful time to walk around. Not an adventurous place. Ideal for family picnic time. Its neatly maintained, so you can get young kids too.
Nothing much to do, apart from some view points to see the river and valley.
