We learned that many of the food kiosks are closed on Mondays because it is not a typical visiting day. The lagoon is very big (when there is a lot of rain, otherwise it can almost dry), and has lots of dunes in its sides. The dunes gives a very nice look the the lagoon. You can swim in the lagoon with no problem. The restaurants in the lagoon are mostly simple with simple food. The lagoon is very full of people in the weekend, so if you do not like crowds then go during weekdays.
