This was a highlight of my trip. Every knock and cranny had something to see. As soon as you walk in you feel a sense of calm, it’s so very peaceful! Worth visiting if you are in Lovina!

the hike to the waterfall is fairly steep and involve uphill, downhill, and huge concrete steps. it takes about 15-20 min to arrive to the falls from the parking lot. alternatively, you can walk the first section, then ride the mototaxi for the second section. i believe the cost for mototaxi is 25K IDR.

once there, there is a main waterfall which is the twin waterfalls. there are also other smaller waterfalls around with a pool at the bottom, that have fewer people congregating

the waterfalls are fed by spring water, so water is a little cold but not overly so.

Well it's a 3 h hike in order to see the 3 waterfalls. But the effort is worth it. the first one you can reach it after 15 min max.
The other 2 are a bit tricky but they are much more astonishing. Be there early in the morning to have the waterfalls just for you.
The first one will cost you about 20k per person, and 10k/pers for each of the remaining 2.

These springs are thermal and thought to heal diseases as there is sulphur in the water- known locally as holy hot springs. Worth a visit if you find yourself in North Bali one day. I recommend going early to avoid crowds: weekend locals and busloads of tourists during the week. I arrived at 9.30 am and had a quiet hour before it got busy. It's relaxing and low-key. A great place to take a book and read in the gardens if you're travelling solo. Very peaceful. Did I feel better afterwards? Most definitely. I plan to visit again a few times before leaving the area.

    Oh and thé restaurants
And Joe's café on friday evening with live music. Love to dance and sing with locals with expats and with tourists

Alot of handicraft made there and sold at lower prices than in f.i. Ubud or Kuta/legian

This was the best part of our recent trip to West Bali. We went snorkelling on the bio rock everyday, sometimes twice. Each time it was a unique experience. You can easily hire mask, snorkel & fins at Karang Divers, which is next to the Biorock office.

The beauty of diving on the biorock is that it is less than 50m off the beach. It is a rocky shoreline at low tide but there’s a sandy section opposite the Biorock office.

Once you are under the water it is like another world, we spent over an hour each time floating above the underwater sculptures surrounded by schools of colourful tropical fishes. One time we had a school of fishes who adopted us following our every move as we swam from sculpture to sculpture, nibbling on our fingers and legs. Another time we were on a coral outcrop watching a sea turtle graze on the reef.

We found the best times to dive on the Biorock was early in the morning at low tides. The afternoon dives when there wasn’t much turbulence and sediment were just as good.

If you in Pemuteran than you absolutely have to swim out and explore the Biorock - it is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in Bali.

Beautiful waterfall and the guides were amazing. We had Gede and Kadek as our guides and they were so friendly, knowledgeable and brilliant. Despite the heavy rain it was great. Lots of steps though, so be aware it can be a bit difficult

Wonder around and looking for water fall in munduk, finally we found this water fall after 40 minutes walk down .
There is no sign or direction òn the path lane , but you can figure it out. It is worth it when you arrive there is beautiful. Along the way you will see a lot of fruit and vegetation, clove tree, cacao, nutmeg ,snake skin fruit, etc.
Fitness needed when we climb back to the main road/parking area.
To find this waterfall you can go down from taman ayu homestay in munduk.

I doubt that Lovina would be noted for the quality of its beach but nevertheless there were a number of locals and tourists enjoying the rather coarse sand, some parts grey, other areas black in colour. Our friendly driver from Agus Dolphin Tours advised that the waters are safe for swimming and other water sports. We were impressed by the number and variety of outrigger boats, Jukungs, lining the beach after returning from early morning fishing and dolphin tours. The beach stretches over an 8km length and offers many tourist facilities in it's hinterland.

This place is absolutely amazing for taking photos that are beyond this world. They have different types of photo stations and there are people who take your photo for no charge. It is expensive but definitely worth it.

This was the first place of interest that we visited while staying in Lovina. It's a compact temple complex, simple in structure but with very ornate stone carvings throughout. A very knowledgeable guide outlined the history of the current temple, the origins dating to 1865 and replacing a 12th century temple destroyed by the Dutch in 1849. Interestingly, the walls incorporate reliefs of early 20th century airplanes and cars. The inner sanctum contains shrines dedicated to various deities.

I love this area very much.

Blessed with 4 lakes, Bali is really a wonderful island ...
3 of them are located close to each other; Beratan, Buyan, and Tamblingan lakes; the last two are even very close to each other and famous as Twin Lakes.

A must-visit points, ideal for taking a break on your trip to the North, trekking with the village park ranger, glamping or even staying to stay close with the local community to experience closer how the Balinese life is.

Do not forget to say thanks to Nature, to the mother earth for the luxury it features for us. Do not disturb them by picking up plants, leaving your trash out there; bring it home or even pick the trash up if you find it during your visit.

Save in your future travel plan please, support Bali again after this Pandemic end.
Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Save Lives ...
