Mountains were calling me but with late monsoon and many COVID related restrictions I was not sure how to make this trip possible. Someone recommended Outdoor Monks. And it was meant to be! From the time I connected with Anubhav, things fell in place. The trip was amazing, mountains were humbling, Hemkund Sahib was divine and our guide Dheeraj was caring and knowledgeable. Ankush, took care of every small detail from hotel rooms with a view to special meals and transportation. I am thankful to the entire Outdoor Monks team for making this trip possible. Hoping to do many more treks with them.

Our experience of staying @ Blue poppy at both Auli and Ghangria has been truely exceptional. We would like to thank the lovely couple Seema and Devakant for making our holiday a memorable one. From the day of booking to the day of our departure team blue poppy provided a service that was friendly & personalised . The resort and tents are very well maintained and the staff is very courteous and helpful. I would any day recommend Blue Poppy to anyone who travels to Uttrakhand and infact we intend to revisit the place sometime in the winter.

Where do I begin? From just having a 30 minute conversation asking if we could make something happen with the travel window of 3 days that I had to just having the most incredible experience of getting a glimpse of Gharwal Himalayas, rafting down Ganges on return (wasnt even something we planned, but when asked, Kaly and team made it happen!).

What stood out the most - with Ankush our guide for the journey, we simply felt like a part of an extended family wherever they took us, be it where we stayed at Chopta, or at Sari. Enjoying meals together we truly picked up a friend along the way. Sharing local tales and way of life, all in all, it was just an immersive 3 days with these guys.

I also want to highlight the adaptability and importance these folks gave to us having a really great experience, we needed slight changes in our plans and it was seamlessly made to happen on the fly, discussing what worked best for us!

I'm definitely retuning for another round with these folks!

It was no doubt a challenging trek.. but when you reach the summit it’s just peace and tranquil. Go prepared as weather is very uncertain, you will experience scorching sun, winds and also showers. The best is you start early morning and reach by 11 to get a full 360 view.
