We found great results, but some are outside Verbania. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to Verbania.
#1 of 8 Nature & Parks in Verbania
Like all the lake towns, stop and park, because what you see from the road view, is a fraction of the fascinating architecture that lies hidden from the lakes frontage.
As we were making our way along the promenade skirting the lake park we came upon a table set up by a man in a captain's hat, who was selling boat tickets.

If you do this there is a lovely little restaurant in a park just before you go down into Pallanza which has amazing views over the lake and great food.
You will spend 2 hours minimum admiring the beauty of nature her with mountain views as well.

We sat quietly in a quiet nook and contemplated the magical artwork of nature both behind us and out to the lake, islands and those wonderful mountains.
When you park in Stresa you may be approached by boat captains touting for their boat companies, they are reasonable value and have fast clean boats going about hourly, which is enough.

We all loved the gentle walk around the amazing park which was sheltered in many places by huge trees - very helpful as it was a gloriously hot day.
We visited on a Sunday, lots of families and children ,a lovely park with views over the lake.
