It is a nice flat path from Varazze towards Genova - We loved it as it is completely flat and we found wonderful little coves where we could swim all on our own. Fantastic!

Beautiful view, also nice for a picnic. We normally drive to Casanova, park and walk from there (via Canavelle and salita Cavetto). The children love it (there only one seep part at the end).

We had a very nice and quiet evening at the beach restaurant and we stayed at the beach in the morning. Very clean, excellent services and nice music. We will definitely come back and further enjoy..

Very helpful and polite staff. Amenities include;- changing rooms, showers and toilets. There is a cafe and bar and shelter from the midday sun. Two beds and an umbrella cost 25 euros per day, except weekends when the cost is 30 euros.

At the very western part of Varazze if you walk on the beach promenade towards Savona you'll end up at this amazing beautiful Marina with stunning looking Yachts and Sail boats big enough to travel across any ocean.
There are 2 excellent high end restaurants and other more casual as well as cafes and Gelaterias. I had the opportunity to try some of the restaurants and they were very good, fresh seafood is what's mostly available. There are boat rentals as well as a sailing club .
I would highly recommend visiting and stopping for a byte to eat on any patio along this stunning Marina.

On the expensive side just like everywhere else on the Ligurian coast. The sunbeds are crammed in one next to another (just like all the other organised beaches. The staff was friendly. half price on the water if you recycled your water bottle.

We wanted to park here for a bike tour along the old railway tracks. Even though the beach was still closed! Too bad that parking was not free as said in a previous post, but 1,80€ per hour, 16.06.-14.09. all days, on now 15.09.-15.05. on weekends and holidays, both 8:00-19:00 o’clock.
We saw some cars parked on the street leading down there but parking was officially forbidden and it was a designated tow-away area.

Nicely kept not too many people squashed in and nice spot by the sea. Prices 12 euro for 2 deckchairs and a folding chair make it very good value.

I visited my friend who is living here on this weekend and we spent all the time on this beach😊 The beach is big and lots of space between the sun loungers. The staff is friendly, they can speak Italian, English and German.
In the morning they have a wonderful Italian breakfast on the beach! I hope I will come back to see my friend again and we will come here for sure! I will miss my friend and this beach, I had hear a very good time! Thank You!

You have never seen anything more spectacular then the celebration of Santa Caterina. The prosecution, singing, and all the festivities. Unbelievable.

We remained at this beach with my friends and found the service extremely rude and arrogant. Dirty facilities, smelly bathrooms without paper and rudeness of the staff-we don’t advise this beach at all.
